So cool,my auto sparky gave me a huge quote to do something like this & could not afford it,seeing how it’s done I’m going to build myself now, thanks so much Off to grab some wood & carpet Nice cable tie hack
When I get my new 4x4 at the end of the yr or early next year I'm coming into brissy showroom and buying the complete package apart from the inverter however looking at a fridge aswell maybe the outback
Hey mate, love the videos! Looking at setting up my dual battery with this ultra slim behind the rear seats of a ranger, is it possible to install the battery longways, so the Anderson plugs are facing up? Cheers
Heaps up people with rangers buy them so they must fit ok,here is a link to the webpage with measurements so see how it goes kickassproducts.com.au/products/kickass-ultra-slim-105ah-lithium-battery-with-bluetooth?_pos=2&_psq=105&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
Nice set up. I h e one of your 120amp lithium power boxes with dcdc etc. I know you guys have a 1200 amp inverter and recoded them with this size battery, but can I run a 1500 amp inverter or your 2000 amp inverter? One item I have is 1400 amp run and most induction cookers are 200 amp. Thank you
G'day Steve,we rekon 1200 amp inverter is perfect, the ripper thing is if you connect to big of an inverter on the battery then the bms will trigger an alarm & disconnect the battery untill the load is removed Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
What size is that back-board? I have an Alu-cab Contour canopy on my Jeep Gladiator and I am looking at placing it against the back of a CANOPY CUPBOARD -750mm. Kind of hoping it fits!
Hi, We suggest using 9-12mm Marine Ply. The beauty of doing it this way is that you can measure and cut the backing board to the space you need it to fit into. Then once on the bench you can arrange the components you want in your system to fit in your space. The piece we used in this video was 1200mm x 500mm.
G'day paul, there not letting me play with the dmax anymore as it is down our brisbane warehouse now,but still have the board in my studio i do video's so maybe one day Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
I had no idea how to build it but now I am a bit more comfortable, can u tell me each component you got to build it exactly the same please? Include the cables that i need purchase a part? Thank u heaps buddy!!! 🍻👊🏽👍🏽

G'day Mate, you don't need a shunt with our lithium battery's as we have in built blootooth as well as remote display units, you only need a shunt if you want to monitor battery's that have no inbuilt features for instance our agm range of battery's is great to use a shunt to see what amperage is going in & out Thanks for watching cheers Craig
G'day Pork chop,it really is best to charge with no loads when charging on 240v,as your charger is trying to detect when completely charged & if you keep drawing especially heavy loads you can cook your battery, small loads like fridges etc not to much of an issue as they only run a few times every hour
G'day Lavs, your lithium battery bms will take care of everything mate,we have done all the work for you,if there is any issues the bms will protect the battery, but a fuse in a system never hurts Cheers Craig
G'day mate here is a link to the website & has all the dimensions to help you out www.kickassproducts.com.au/buy/KickAssUltraSlim105AHLithiumBatterywithBluetooth thanks for watching Cheers Craig
We are planning to. It is just taking a while as we have to get a lot of products altered and certified. For example all of our AC is 240 Volt in Australia so we need it converted to 110v. Be assured we are working extremely hard to make our full range available in the U.S.
