KICKER COMPQ Series Subwoofer!!! Why I love My KICKER COMPQ 10!!!  

Ever since I saw the kicker lineup from Parker the bass head’s channel, the comp q was the one I knew I had to have. Unfortunately I can’t afford one quite yet, but I’m upgrading slowly over time. Currently running a cvr10 and I’m loving this thing

They are extraordinary musical. Friend at work has a 12 compq without a ton of power.(roughly 700 watts) It's clean, accurate, responds ridiculously quick. He's set for sq but can go sql. He had grond zero but had to bump down. Very little difference. Clean power, electric, signal and equipment. Nice!!!

Kicker has always been beast and always been slept on. Because I guess it’s so main stream. But my very first couple setups was kicker and wasn’t disappointed

Still beatn my CVR's 12's I've had for 14 or 15yrs on a ZX-750.1 birth sheet 932 and they still going strong. Sold my Comp-Q's with my last truck. But got three L7-8Q's I'm ready to throw in my new truck. Gotta have them running in that "MBE SIGNATURE SAUCE" 👍🏾👍🏾💥💥💯

I have 2 kicker comp q 12s powered by the Kicker cx1800.1 they hit all the notes with a lot of defenition, sound quality, set my gains with a multimeter. In a sealed box designed for these subs. Not as loud as the ported box I had before it was a prefab, but sounds really good. I had the 10's before but exchanged them for the 12s.

I have a 12 p-300 fosgate powered sub. Sound quality is pretty damn good tbh. Its in a 24 hatchback civic. Would love to heat that ten in that type box .

I own a bunch of subwoofer and I gotta say I switch between the compQ and the w7 but personally enjoy the compQ more. Single l subwoofer set up

I've had 2 12 inch yellow label kicker comp subs in a sequoia and they dig deep. They hit so hard they made my ears pop

MBE you have to try the earthquake sound subzero series . You will love it more especially for SQ

Honestly you need a test vehicle that has more space for larger setups.

I have 3 vehicles now. My suv has 2 alpine type x in a sealed box running about 1800watts rms. My bmw m5 has a 12w7 with a jl 1200/1HD in a ported box. I just got a 2019 mustang GT and i have another 12w7 and 1200/1 hd sitting around but i want something different for the mustang. I was looking at the alpine type r and a kicker comp q. after hearing you say they sound as good as a jl w series im now sold on the compq. so thanks for that. plan on getting 2 12" compq in a sealed box for the mustang.

I'm a comp VX fan but always wanted a comp Q.

To me it seems like kicker is under representing both the sensitivity and RMS power handling ratings of these top notch drivers. Sound Great/worth every penny

Just make sure you upgrade your electrical or you can not run more then 1000 watts on a stock alternator and stock battery . You CAN NOT ARGUE WITH PHYSICS. Add a second battery and it makes things worse cause now your asking your lil stock alternator to power batteries AND Amplifiers. Not many people mentioning there power supplies just what amp and sub they use. Takes power to make power.

My kicker comp q 12 on 600 watts is loud enough for me. Waiting on my nvx vcw 12 to show up next week and I can’t wait to compare them 🔥💪🏼🔊

You are 100% correct that sub is bad ass I had 2 skar evl 12s in the same exact box as this on 1500 watts more power than these and these shitted all over the skars

Alpine type R & Alpine type X has very good quality as well....people sleep on Alpine....I had 2-12 inch Alpine type R's in a custom made Alpine box years ago in 2005 & then in 2011 I purchased 4-12 inch Pioneer Champion pros before they went discontinued you can checkout my older vids of the setup on my old channel (Taecamperva) but I probably needed a MBE enclosure for those because still till this day nothing has outperformed those Alpine type R's I had.

I heard 215s and some guys Monte Carlo and it was hitting so hard I pulled up next to him and I said what you running and he said the 2:15 of those and I was blown away on how loud he was and it was funny cuz he was keeping up with other people with big wall builds of skar audio products and other brands

I've got my 15:in 4cf air space tuned at 30 hz areo 6 inch on the small end but it hits the lows great and still loud at 40 hz ..it can play anything

Man you gotta review the kicker cvx 12s I really want your opinions on that 12, they my favorite 12s of all time

100% a sleeper sub. Sound quality on point, but gets wayyy louder than you think it would lol. I constantly make nonbelievers believe after I demo them my ONE 12” compQ (3.25net at 30hz) and they think it’s 2 10’s or even a 15. And even in a sealed box it still gets down

Although Im currently running the QClasss 8's. I would Like to see these comp q in a 8". I'll grab two. Get the box built by MBE. If they do make a solo x 8. Get me two of those as well. Box built by MBE. And Would rotate Each Box+Sub combo every so often.

I’d like to make a recommendation. Listen to Dawn Patrol by Megadeth. That song has a really clean and clear bass guitar that’s the primary instrument on that track and I’d like to know your thoughts on the clarity on your system. I say this because I had a single kicker 12” and I forget the mode but it was a cheaper driver at 150 rms and 300 w max in a sealed box at 1sq cubed on a cheap Walmart amp in my extended cab truck and I loved it so much!
