I want the bad ass solo X back! 2500rms/5000peak. I have a 10 solo x with a kicker 2500.1 amp And it’s probably the loudest set up I have ever had and I’ve had plenty of dual 15’s and dual 12s of various brands. But not only is it louder but where it really takes the cake is how clear it is and how great the sound quality is and also the durability. And to be quite honest all you really need is a good quality 8 inch or 10 inch sub woofer that’s of competition quality, put into the right custom box with the proper amplifier and an 8 to 10 inch sub will outperform 12s and 15’s

Right now I have mtx terminator package with a 300 watt rms amp want deeper bass was thinking about the yellow kickers but worried that amp won't push them

With single voice coils u only have 1 pair of positive and negative terminals With dual voice could u have 2 pairs of positive and negative terminals So if u buy a single voice coil and a dual voice coil sub and they r both 1000 watts, u cud only wire the single voice coil sub one way (attaching positive to positive on amp, negative to negative on amp). But if u had the 1000 watt sub in dual voice coil, u cud wire it in parallel to get the full 1000 (one positive coming from amp to one positive terminal, then to the next positive terminal, and then do the same wit negative) or if u wire series it splits the power (1000) in half. So u would get 500. Basically with dvc subs u get more wiring options
wrong! dvc does not mean it can handle more power,it means more wiring options,a svc 4 can only be wired to 4 ohm a dvc 4 ohm sub can be wired to 4 or 2 ohms,making the amp put out more power at 2 ohms. a 2 ohm sub can be wired to 2 or 1 ohm
Try the Kicker CXA800.1 at about 1 ohm. (Might get like 1.3 or so). Don’t be fooled by the small size of the amp. Shit slaps hard. *Break them in properly at about half power for at least 2-4 weeks. Preferably the latter. Then turn it up so you’re getting the full power of the amp. And don’t turn your gain and bass boost over 3/4 of the way.
I already have a JL audio jx500/1d 500rms@2ohm and 300rms@4ohm. Should I buy the Kicker Comp RT DVC4ohm or Kicker Comp RT DVC2ohm? Will I hear huge difference running the same subwoofer @500rms2ohm or @300rms4ohm?

Dominance? Kicker doesn't make anything impressive as far as performance... There all pretty wimpy looking there performance to price ratio is horrible. Yeah may sound decent but there top level is the entry level of other brands I think they would sell plenty of a big motor version...but what do I know they r successful....
