Travis Scott has said Kid Cudi is his biggest idol and inspiration when producing music so if they sound similar that’s why. Same reason he calls the kids at his show Ragers.
Cudi is so amazing the way he can relate to people. He is just a person trying to make it in life like anyone else. If you guys do another make it Kid Cudi - The Prayer. It’s very powerful.
+1! i know alot of people say this, but Cudi really saved my life. Man on the moon aint a name, its a way of life. #CUDFAM till i die. (Fun fact; Cudi almost gave away the instrumental of Mr Rager because he was to coked up to hit the notes)
@@yvindiversen9414 Cudi is the one celebrity/artist that i would genuinely be upset if something happened to him, he is the most personal artist ive listen too. No matter what he does ill always support him.
This song is about addiction to cocaine and other drugs. How he feels so destroyed and now feels like a teacher to the younger youth. His way to heaven is his death ultimately from an OD
Kid Cudi and this album in particular helped me through the toughest moment in my life and kept me from causing harm to myself, and I’ll always love him for that. My favorite song off this album was These Worries. Love kid Cudi. Great reaction guys!
He was very inspired by a wide variety of music. You can easily see aspects of prog, indie, New Wave, R&B and pop. His and Kanye’s ability to combine all those genres are what inspired hip-hop artists, and even many indie rock artists to gain popularity in the 2010’s.
I know this sounds strange, but you guys should react to Cudi's TED Talk. It's not music, but I still think it's fantastic and you guys would appreciate what he talks about and basically understanding his backstory. Wild idea I know, but hey, up to you guys. Love your channel either way lol.
Love Kid Cudi so much. He’s helped me with my mental health by being so relatable. Not often can an artist connect with the listeners as much as he. Y’all should definitely listen to Soundtrack 2 My Life, Man on the Moon (the song) or The Prayer.
Cudi saved my life. Listen to "The Prayer" it's absolutely beautiful. Man on the Moon, Dat New New, Welcome to Heartbreak, Cuddersback, Soundtrack to My Life all deserve listens too. My fav artist in hip hop along with Kanye
Kid cudi has a punk rock album called speeding bullet to heaven listen to the songs confused, Handle With Care, and might be screwed. All amazing punk rock songs! By a amazing rapper... i think cudi is personally the best ARTIST in the world. Please take advantage of his music!! It will help so many ppl more than it already has!!! #MuchLove !
Very few artist can say so much with so little. It’s a vibe with him. It’s almost generalized in a way so it’s open to each persons own personal mental issues... he is a powerful influence in hip hop but his style goes beyond that. Kid Cudi is just a great listen. I’m such a fan.
All along by kid cudi is beautiful man, you should check that out if you haven't already... or for a rock vibe, confused from cudis speeding bullet to heaven album ✌
React to: Kanye West - Devil In A New Dress (feat. Rick Ross) Trippie Redd - Topanga Lupe Fiasco - Madonna (And Other Mothers In The Hood) (feat. Nikki Jean) Kanye West - Blood On The Leaves Kendrick Lamar - HiiiPower The Weeknd - Wicked Games Big K.R.I.T. - Mt. Olympus
Kid Cudi taught me that I wasn’t alone in being a lonely, depressed, stoner who couldn’t sleep at night. Listening to that in high school made me feel like I had a voice
The timing of this is perfect I've just been getting into Cudi the last few days (I know super late). I never got why people loved him so much but he's just so relatable and talks about things everyone goes through but doesn't talk about. I appreciate him so much more now and would love to see some more reactions to his work
God is a Gangsta ~ Kendrick Lamar Superstar ~ Lupe Fiasco Shook Ones Pt.2 ~ Mobb Deep Figaro ~ MF DOOM Exhibit C ~ Jay Electronica Devil is a Lie ~ Rick Ross 2009 ~ Mac Miller Whippin Excursion ~ Giggs Man ~ Skepta Loyle Carner!!!
MOTM 1 and 2 are massive parts of my childhood and teen years. It always helped me to know that someone else felt alien and alone, that I wasn't entirely misunderstood. Not to mention that especially in motm 2 there is a story taking place throughout the album, which is something more rarely found in newer shit.
Cudi is the an incredible artist. Someone who’s loves through the dark times and survived trying to inspire kids going through it. Having a bad day listen to man on the moon or soundtrack to my life. A fantastic artist and paved the way for a lot of the new rappers
Kid Cudi has been and still is the closest thing to therapy that a lot of kids are gonna get. Talk to any cudi fan and there’s a 90% chance that they’ll say “he saved my life”
Man On The Moon is one of my favourite Kid Cudi songs. Some of his rockier/indie rock songs as Kid Cudi are Erase Me and Up Up and Away. Soundtrack To My Life is fantastic too.
Since JD loved Thuggin by Freddie Gibbs, can we get a whole Pinata reaction on his channel? It's top 3 of this decade for me and if you liked Thuggin there is no way you won't love everthing else on the album, it doesn't have a bad track on there
Cudi is so interesting and so relatable because he deals with depression which is something that isn't new, a lot of musicians have talked about it but he expresses it in such a real and relatable way, anyone that's ever dealt with depression would be able to relate to his music because he's so raw and finds such creative yet realistic ways to express his emotions. Really talented guy, I hope you guys do "Soundtrack To My Life" by him soon because that is honestly such a great song front to back and the verses are incredible story telling
It's interesting you say it's a radio song because I don't remember ever hearing Mr Rager on the radio. Kid Cudi was and still is ahead of his time 😭❤️
