Dragon Ball Super's 2nd ending theme makes me cry a little, especially when they show the flash backs of Goku on the motorbike with Bulma in db and Gohan training with Piccolo.
hashaskinner So far I've only watched DBZ entirely because the insane power levels is what made it so intriguing for me. I started watching DB recently and even though the amount of explosions is far less than in DBZ it's still pretty damn awesome!
I remember reading this as a kid on my ipad. For some reason apple allowed someone to upload the entire dragon ball manga including dragon ball z (complete timeline). I loved dragon ball. the later years are cool but Goku's early years are much more entertaining and I love that Dragon Ball Super is going back to that old formula of how simple the battles are like in old Dragonball. Evil force shows up attacking our heroes in some way/on the quest for the dragon balls (exactly what moro is doing in Dragon ball super manga). I absolutely love it still to this day.
I'll never feel the feeling again that I got when I watched the original Dragon Ball for the first time. A simple, pure, childlike view. In the same way childhood was a simpler time compared to adulthood, Dragon Ball was a simpler time compared the Dragon Ball: Z and Super. It's crazy to think that the boy with a tail who fought the Demon King Piccolo is now fighting gods, and achieving the power of the gods too. Remember when Goku was just a strange boy with a tail? When Piccolo was a demon? When Roshi was too strong for Goku? When Yamacha, Tien, and Krillin were Goku's rivals? Good ol' times. I miss those simple times.
@@NanaFuzzball when kid goku punched a hole through piccolos chest while showing his true Oozaru form power will always be the most badass goku moment to me
Kid goku literally killed an entire army alone and killed a planet buster all while being only 14 years old, while current goku struggles to use transformations and manage the waste of energy
@@idk83153 what? Current gokus presence alone would kill thr entire red ribbon army. Whats thr point u even making? Are u telling me kid goku is stronger then dbz goku?
i remember when i was around 9-10 years old. back there, ive always started thinkin about how im fighting at the tournemant and jumpin around in my room like an idiot ever since i heard this song xD
Man.. I love original dragonball so much.. it’s just the thrill and wonder of a little kid beating up people through simple martial arts with no gods or transformations being a major thing. Such a simple yet nostalgic and really fun show!
I still mean that Dragonball is better than DBZ since Dragonball had much more informative fight focusing less on Power Levels and beams and stuff and just focusing more on the fighting as you can see when Goku is a kid.. you can hate all you want, but there is more adventure across the earth in DB.
Markis boy I'll give you that. I love Dragon Ball Z Kai and some of Dragon Ball Super, but the original definitely feels more like an adventure rather than an anime involving raw, destructive, earth-shattering power. I still like them all either way, but you still have me on board with your statement.
Meh, they aren’t really similar, I wouldn’t say which one is better necessarily, at least for me I look at which I prefer, which is DBZ, but I think DB has many reasons to be loved equally
Goku starts the series as a 7 year old boy living in Mt. Paozhu; now he’s over 50 years old, a loving father, a husband, and grandfather. He is one of the last of his people, a friend to a prince, and a rival to the gods. RIP Toriyama. I hope your life was as fulfilled as the protagonist you gave us.
@@rigistroni No, he spared Piccolo and Vegeta because he also knew they could become allies like Yamcha and Tien, and that's literally what happened. Don't compare the real Goku to this super parody (and it has nothing to with the dub, I didn't even watched it in English), he was never that reckless and always cared for his friends and the earth
I love the original Dragon Ball & I didn’t know how much until in Super Goku achieved MUI & the Gods stood up. It was a surreal feeling knowing that I had watched this character grow from a random kid in the woods to being this amazing fighter that even Gods are in awe of.
@@AlexanderDiviFilius there's still a definite change. Once the Saiyan Saga starts, it's less about the adventures, searching for Dragon balls, and more about the fights, transformations, and conflict. Dragon ball was much more adventure based, after the 23rd Tournament, it started to be more fighting based.
GT and dragon Ball super were the worst version of dragon Ball I've ever watched. And I think GT better than super. The only thing that came out of super that was even decent was torment of power.
***** Please don't sit here and argue with me. I'm not deaf, I heard what I heard. And there are swears in Dragonball. Damn came up a few times, and it is counted as a swear.
***** This is quite funny if I do say so myself. How about you take a breather and type to where I can understand you. I'm not trying to be rude kid, but I seriously can't understand what you're typing.
This theme brings me back to 1986, when I was 10 , watching Dragon ball after school ! Those were the blessed years, and I'll Always remember this time !😢
if you want an energetic feeling, and some kick-butt music, come to this song. if you want some sweet lullaby music to calm the nerves, go to kid gohan's theme.
i don't know why but every time i listen to this theme song i just feel so happy!!! maybe that's y goku is so happy all the time cuz he has this song playing in his head every single moment!!!!
Nostalgia....this was the first show that was aired in 1980s but it the bgm was not this slow though.I think i like kid goku the best because he is this happy go lucky kid and is so pure.I like dbz but dragon ball was just too amazing, even though goku is nothing compared to the present day goku.
… They remixed this for the Great Saiyaman theme. Even though the time for roaming the world for the magic Dragon Balls had long passed, there was still a lot more adventures to go on.
