If someone is deported it was because they weren’t an American citizen to begin with. There are plenty non Americans here on school and work Visa’s. That would be like we did a crime and instead of sending us to jail they sent us back to Africa 🤣 I’m pretty sure he wasn’t a citizen. They could be prosecuted in the country the crimes committed in, and many do- however, politics start playing a role in these situations so then what happens next depends on the political relationship between the countries, in this case China … This situation isn’t big enough to disrupt the relationship between us and china, so he was deported.
