A 1991 television movie called “I Know My First Name Is Steven” was based on the seven year kidnapping and sexual abuse of Cary Stayner’s younger brother, who tragically died in a car accident 10 years after he’d escaped from his captor. There are clips on RU-vid but I don’t know where to find the entire movie. Just a huge dark cloud over that family.

I'm with Kidd.. he doesn't need no death penalty, that's way too easy for him.. he needs gen pop yard time, alot of it, everyone needs to know what he did and definitely some unsupervised shower time with the boys.. and strict instructions that hes not to die so he can experience EVERY day what it's like to be a victim..

This story was very horrific, that guy Cary very sick in the head since he was seven and no sign appeared to show something was wrong with him, his brothers situation is probably what caused him to have such a fear of man, but if he was that fearful he would have never done all of these Evil wicked acts against those women, he has to suffer the punishment and pain he caused those women and their families, it's really sad and horrible that their lives ended like that, because of a sickening psychopath that was laying naked and smoking like everything in life was good, but it wasn't, good thing that the man noticed his car during the time the last woman was missing, because the cops were holding people that were not the criminal and lying saying they were while they were being held is very sickening, as a horrible women hunter was on the loose like the people of the town was thinking and saying that the cops should come out and say they're not sure if they have the murderer 100%, that would have given them more than enough time to find the psychotic murderer before he murdered the last woman, that's very traumatic to the girlfriend and her children, good thing the cops got him before he committed his horrific actions against them, I hope that she never have to experience being with someone like that ever again, may all four of the women rest in peace.
