My dad was great around livestock and he shared that calmness around animals with me which opened a new avenue of fun on the farm. You had to have a sense of awareness around the cattle, hogs, and occasional rooster, but my dad helped me overcome my initial farm animal fears. I was reminded of those memories when I watched this video with your beautiful and calm children. Good looking cattle and thanks for sharing.

That's why I miss my old hereford cows. I could walk through them at night and they wouldn't even move. They would just lay on the pad

Kids are looking great. You should look into Sea-90 to spray on your pastures we have been using it for 2 years and the cows have trouble keeping up with the grass growth now

I remember being around cattle at that age and by 10 I was feeding them myself. We always had black angus and some poled Herefords. They were always mostly calm. Occasionally, we would get one real skittish and would cause trouble, it would end up going to the sale barn or become dinner!!
