Couldn’t agree more. Wife has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and prior to the van it was really difficult to book getaways, only to find we had to cancel at the last minute as she was not well. Now when she is having some good days we can get away at the last minute and enjoy our lovely country. Even though I got a brand new conversion, I love to tinker with it (made a insert for the pop top to stop the pillow falling down and to give me a little more room, adding decals and a simple elastic netting). We love it !
Great video/pictures again - not to mention the singing! Nice to see Michelle driving for a change and always love to see Branston. Lovely that Olivia is always with you too. 💕🐾
Absolutely love your videos !! Your down to earth and funny ! As newbies to the campervan life we really get loads of info , tips and fun from your films! Thanks 😊
Colin! You looked like the Executioner off Robin Hood Prince of thieves, when you had that midge net on your head, not covering your mouth. 🤣🤣🤣 Great videos, keep it up 👍🏻
Thanks for this suggestion. First one we’ve seen anywhere near us (Scottish Borders) where we could be in our van with our daughter next door in their tent. 👍
The addition of photo info is great. It compliments the normal content, at the same time helps with taking better photos. I’ve had a Nikon for years but never really had success,. Thank you
I joined DOC on Facebook after watching your videos mate, I have the same van as you aswell, hopefully our paths cross at an event one day so I can say hi, keep the great content coming 👍🏻
Love the pics, love the site suggestions, keep them coming! Also, consider a folding fire pit from Amazon. I used mine at the weekend in Dunkeld and was blown away by how good it was and easy to assemble.
That's such a great little site! We were not so lucky with the Migs when we went a few back. If you follow the path down the lake a little further, you can get down to the shore. And there is also a massive head sculpture in the woods that you can get into aswell! It's amazing.
Love it, just ordered last week more or less same van, got slated for having black roof on white van because of attracting the heat however guess all ok with yours
I saw you up there Colin, you were just leaving Kielder Castle car park, your daughter caught me gawping at you. Fantastic area, if you go there again try the circular walk (magenta) through the woods up the hill and back over the viaduct. It felt like walking through lotr!
Reay enjoyed this vlog, as usual! Have you made an addition to your van of those shelves behind the kettle? Could you do a little chat about them in a video? Thanks
Hiya Alice, thank you so much, I fit them a few months back and talk about them at the end of this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cv7_mX8nJNI.html video if that helps... if not, send me a message with any questions you have about it :)
It was amazing! We loved it.... Will definitely be back. Jovial Campers will also be back soon too! Fingers crossed, we are both so busy at the moment its nuts
Hi chaps, really enjoying your channel, continued success! Could you tell me which campsite you where at in Keilder, struggling to find it! Regards Jon
Heading up that way on the 21st Feb but really pushing it in a Lodge with the Family for Daughters Birthday. Will try and locate campsite on our trip as I am going up in my self converted Combo camper very soon, seems like a good place to try it out for a couple of nights….don’t live too far away 78 miles (ish) Cheers
We stayed in kielder last year, and yes an amazing a beautiful place, but the midges when we visited totally ruined the experience, hoped to sit out on a night and it was unbearable
So did we, but it turns out that "no camp fires" means no fires on the ground. The campsite owner said that if it was contained and off the ground that it was ok ;)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures my apologies have not yet watched full article, I had assumed it was about wild camping in Keilder Forest, a case of "mouth in action before brain in gear" my apologies again.
