I heard it wasn't originally in the script but it happened once on accident and Edgar Wright loved it so much they did a bunch of takes to recreate it. So it started as an accident but the take they used was on purpose. Still amazing. 😂

@@Ami-ws1rs he's not asian. Just because it's anime doesn't mean all the characters therein are Japanese. Levi is an Israeli name and Ackerman is a common jewish surname. Meaning Levi is most likely middle eastern in ethnicity. In fact, IIRC, it's a plot point that Mikasa was one of the few asians left and that's why she was kidnapped as a child, when Eren rescued and his family adopted her.
