@@carloscort7604 they're definitely not. Just like in humans, male species are bigger, heavier and stronger than the females, and you can clearly see it in the video. The head size and form is also an indicator.
The one lying down after being disciplined by Kifu is probably Tambaby. She loves spending time with Freya, and they're usually sneakier with the snacks so Kifu doesn't notice.😂

Actually the people did! The fella is pointing at the beginning of video and says go to the silverback then he, marches over to assert his dominance! All the while the blonde had her neck winded round staring making eye contact as she knew a lesser high ranking ape was with her about to eat before the king!
The silverback is very intelligent, in my opinion he knows that he could take all the peanuts by force but he only asks for it insistently because he knows that if he hurts people he will be isolated or punished. The girl behaved very well by giving all the food to him because he could get quite pissed off.

If there weren’t Gorillas in encloseres they would all be extinct because there are not enough of them in the wild which is obviously why we have conservations. @MrRich710 Almost all gorillas in zoos are born there or are rescued. But I guess people need to respect them by having them die in the wild instead of having a good life and teaching and inspiring others to care?
Unless you were a female gorilla. He does that, but he also protect the whole group of attacks from other silverbacks. This is the harsh reality of the wild. You can see that he was an alpha on his wild time, and still is.
I can see how your dad relies on his training of the gorillas and his daughter. For a split second, Dad wanted to keep Kifu from heading over there. But, he stayed out of it and relied on what he taught Freya about keeping a safe distance and probably not responding like "No, no more cookies.". I can already imagine the dad telling her to always keep a safe distance and not try to withhold food if they're demanding it. And then the reassuring look back to dad. Its all very interesting. The poor mom, just trying to have a nice snack with her friend!

They raised all those Gorilla's. Plus Gorilla's have no history of murdering a human for no reason. I believe it was in a German Zoo. That one was angry enough to leap out of the enclosure to attack. The story goes a woman would visit almost daily and stare at the Silverback eyes. Well they see it as a challenge. So the day it got out it went straight for the woman. Grabbed her by the arm and dragged her around. Then jumped on her and gave her a few nibble bite warnings. I say nibbles because they have a stronger bite than most big cats. And could have torn her apart.

He didn’t “touch” her. He banged his shoulder and whole upper body against her, and the impact was part of why she ended up bent over. Also the female human speaks to the Ridgeback saying “Don’t bite her.” Then she looks at her father. He does and says nothing. She says “Poor thing.”, referring I assume to the female, almost prostrate. And then the human female moves back, further away from the submissive female gorilla. The male’s dominance is clear.

Even in the wild it would be extremely rare for a gorilla to harm a human unless they were doing something disrespectful towards the silverback like staring deep into his eyes and showing off your biggest brightest grin. Generally even if you are in his direct path he would most likely just push you aside and move on unless you challenge him, then shit would get real for the 4-5 seconds it would take him to dismantle you.
