Hi! Just got my cover and this is really helpful! Note: the tiedown clamps that come with tacoma can be put in or taken out at notched rails. They do not to come in or out at ends👍

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I have the exact same truck as you and I was clueless on how to install the cover with the racks in the truck. I had read reviews online saying that the instructions that came with it were bad, and they weren’t kidding. They are awful, zero help. So happy to have found your video!

Depends on how good you are at reading directions,tools being used and organizing all the items. Once you get that out of the way, it should be 30 minutes or less

Question. Tyger Tonneau cover only has 2 latches. The lock down and the open/close latch. I understand this one has 3, will it still function the same and still be water proof if I only use 2? The lock down and the very last latch and skip the one in the middle? Have to tried this yet? I just don’t want to be crawling in and out of the bed to unlock the middle latch.

I don't know about 2 latches. The 3 latches are for each of the trifolds. Mine is water proof. It's easy to un latched.

When watching your video after you install the corner brackets you can see a lot of light coming in from the corners. Does water get in there?

That was only after the installation but i did readjusted it afterwards by pushing it towards the cab window because there's a rubber rain flap/guard underneath it to seal rain from going inside. There's going to be several adjustments but to not see the lights from inside is not 100%. My wife uses it to put her computer equipments in it on a daily basis throughout the years and she hasn't complain yet.

When it rained, did it ever leak inside the bed? I just installed mine and there is leaks in the front lateral corners and in the middle of both sides as well.

Mine doesn't. You have to take time to adjust and fit it properly and make sure that all the latches are tight.

@@tomdavies1077 anything that has to do with the rail, it's on you. The cover comes with all the latches and the inserts for the inside of the rail so that your latches can latch onto

You fold the 1st to the 2nd to the 3rd..just like any tri fold

This one is 2018....2016-2021 should fit as long as its the 5.5 feet bed. Just type in your make model year and bed length

When you show the tonneau cover on video you keep cutting off the front end I want to see if it’s even , you only show the rear end .

It has a rain trim underneath the front end. All you have to do is push the front end all the way till the rain guard underneath goes against the bed liner then you're good.

This is a horrible example of an installation! The steps are all out of whack! The brackets for the track system should be put on first and left loosely, then put the paddle handles on the cover. Then, put the cover on the truck and adjust the brackets to match the position of the paddle handles. Finally, tighten everything down and pull the paddle handles on the brackets. Close your tailgate and your done!
