Guys in Michigan put these on thier GM trucks to hide the rusted out fenders. I work with a guy who installed them with stock tires on a new Chevy planning on the fenders rotting out. I know that is not why you installed them but it is what comes to mind when I see them!

This was a brand new Taco. The wife likes the truck to look aggressive. So i did all these mods for her. We are in California so no need to worry about rust. She only drives it to work which is 15 miles round trip on pave roads. This truck will only see light off roading once a year during hunting season..lol

The rubber that lays against the body of the truck will scratch the clear coat over time, it did on mine.

So take the rubber trim off?

@@HeuFamilyEnt you have to use 3m adhesive tape so the rubber doesn’t move or put some paint protection film where the rubber meets the body.

Those bolts look awful brother. The video was detailed, well instructed on how to install and what’s in the package. I got something similar on extremeterrain website for my 2017 access cab. I’m planning on replacing my bolts for stubby stainless steel bolts. So drilling won’t be required. Let me know if you are also thinking again replacing yours

She said them bolts match her rim...and pop them bolts on it herself. I told her to plasti dip that all black to blend in with the fender but no she insisted leave it chromed

Hi - I just ordered my 2022 tacoma fender flares- I would like replace those plastic bolts to stainless steel bolts- can you let me what size of the bolts will be perfect fit in to fender? Thanks

I was going to paint those plastic bolts black until I seen how sharp the chrome looks on your wife's truck. Damn, now I have to buy new wheels.

4" suspension lift by rough country. Still good after 4 years. The wife does a lot of city driven and we take it off roading during hunting season from September to December.
