Kilchurn Castle is probably on your "too see" list if you are visiting Scotland. If not, it should be. This video sees me taking pictures and showing you what the accessibility is like. For a change I even show snippets from my editing process for one of the images that needed focus (and light) stacked.
There are many better images of this castle out there. Taking pictures in the middle of the day will rarely give excellent results, but as I explain, I was on a scouting mission and plan to return another time. It is always good to know a place before trying to get that early morning or late evening shot.
This is not an "Accessibility for Disabled" Channel. Accessible means "ease of access". This channel was set up in response to the many channels with Photographers hiking for miles over rough ground or climbing mountains to get an epic shot. I simply want Photographers with less fitness or mild mobility issues to see that they can get out and take interesting pictures and enjoy their hobby.
Equipment
Nikon D750
Nikon 24-70 f2.8 lens
GoPro Hero 9
Rode WirelessGo mic.

Enjoyed that Alistair, thank you. Nice shots. I have been their twice, last time there was snow and the land was really boggy to walk through. Fab vlog as always!

Brilliantly detailed vlog. Just right timing as we are coming up to Scotland in 4 weeks time. ( 1 week in Glencoe and 1 week on the Isle Of Skye) Thanks for the detailed post processing and some nice final images. Our dog is only 11kg so we should be ok :)

Glad you enjoyed it. :-) I am back up the West from the 14th of June. Glen Nevis, hoping to get a few more vlogs done. I hope you have checked out my Skype vlogs from 2019. Oh and Glen Coe is spectacular especially when the weather isn't great so don't be sad if the sun isn't out. 😉
