Just wondering, what did you mean about Recon being key to using Favoured of the Dark Gods? I'm not sure how Favoured of the Dark Gods interacts with Recon
You have to be in the kill zone (out of your deployment zone) for it to trigger. Dashing before the strat phase with either an icon bearer or your leader allows for this in turn 1 at least that as my understanding of it. looking at critical ops, killzone might just be everything. hmmmmmm
yep. thats just me misreading the core rules. The old maps seemed confusing by claiming center of killzone and having drop zones seperate. Killzone is just the whole map. Will need to remember that.
@@itsjustbrodie2681 I walked through my mistake in a short that's going up 2morrow. Sometimes its baffling how mentally tripped up I can get. That's why I like the YT side of things so far. Filling in the gaps by involving way more people then what I have here.

Great battle report. Very informative and easy to follow. A small rules correction: At the start of TP2 your played MUTAGENIC FLESH (Nurgle) for free, and next PERPETUAL AGGRESSION (Khorne) for free. Yet, FAVOURED OF THE DARK GODS ability specifically states "Once per Turning Point, when it is your turn to use a Strategic Ploy [...]".
7:40 - you mention the legionary moving within 2'' so that the hunter can't use the grenade without hitting himself, but you can't use Blast weapons to fire Overwatch in the first place. I'm enjoying the video regardless - rules misunderstandings are part of the Kill Team experience, after all. Makes it more authentic.
Just found your channel, great work! Well put together, engaging, good explanations. One thing I did notice is favoured of the dark gods only allows one strategic ploy for free per turn, not one per person with the ability. If you have two different gods, you choose one and have to spend cp for the other
amazon. i just searched Kill Team Objective markers. Probably find similar on Etsy. I've since moved towards different markers made from similar material to mouse pads. Either are fine.
@@KimerexProjekt I noticed that in turn 2 you used twice favoured of the dark gods, remember that you can only use it once per turn, even if you have both leader and icon bearer
