@26:54 lol ginzu steak knife- lolol brings back memories. "Watch it cut through this rock-hard ash baseball bat" and "Even better than our german knives??" and of course the scene where it just cuts right through that old shoe
Did they mention Aileen Wournos? Wow. I actually have some sympathy for her. Terrible upbringing. It seems she got caught up in a lot of the craziness and she made some bad choices. I'm not saying she's not guilty, but she definitely had things stacked against her.
@jaqueitch Others have already said it but, yes, a lot of us encounter tragedy, crime, abuse, poverty and so on and some of us all of those at once, yet, we do not handle them by committing murder or other crimes. Psychology especially places blame for our sins with our environment which is wrong. The truth is that our hearts are deceitful. Our sins begin there and not outside of us.
That body farm & the doctor’s studies, I understand, but what a career! Thank goodness some people donate their bodies to science. But unclaimed bodies make me sad. I’m glad they identified the Fairfax VA woman, but her having 2 children is upsetting. 😢
Weirdly, some police sketches are so horrible. Like couldn't they have hired a real artist? Some of these sketches look like they were done by 5 graders.
I feel sorry for wournos. Sleezy men. The abuse she suffered. At least the men weren't raped, sodomized tortured beaten dismembered like most women victims or had their arms chopped off with an axe like Mary Vincent whose abductor was let out of jail to murder another woman
Regarding Aileen Wuornos, it supposedly started after her first victim abused her for hours, and she just snapped. In her mind, she might have truly felt it self defense. But after that, she decided to take all of the rage, which had been building up for decades, out on the men she saw that tortured her for her entire life.
I am addicted to these shows. If I found a skull in the woods, I dare say I could tell ethnicity from what I have learned. But that would be disturbing the Crime Scene ☠️👿
@@dariadavies256 there are more sane people than not when it comes to all the gender nonsense, the insane ones are just a lot louder. And they’ve learned that they can whine and name-call to get their way lol
Don’t pat yourself on the back too much for great detective work when the killer is insane, calls in the crime, gets picked up and confesses to that crime and more murders….. He tells you How, When, where, who, why, exactly what weapon were used to kill and then later dismembered the body, and finally he shows you where he left the body after dismembering it! And I almost forgot he told volunteered these murders and the exact location!!! So other than confirming his story what exactly did they do???? NOTHING!!! They crack me up most people go to work and do their job without the slaps on the back and the need to be coddled… Before they give information at a press conference they go on and on about thank you to the sheriffs department for bla bla bla, and I’d like to give a special thanks to the FBI and the ATF for their assistance and bla, bla, bla…. 🤢🤮 Keep in mind they are doing their job that they are getting paid for everything they do. Meanwhile we want to know if there is a killer on the loose, what happened, is everyone I know safe… It is so messed up! Their egos are so big and so fragile!!! Many are borderline nut jobs so arrogant and tyrannical!!!
You are VERY WRONG.!! Just because somebody SAYS they did a crime, they HAVE TO PROVE IT.!!!!! THIS PART takes A LOT of detective work.!!!! A LOT.!!!!!!!
@@yvonnegrassi9219 He told them EVERYTHING, where the body was how he dismembered it, what weapons, they had his confession. Explain the great detective work? They were simply couriers going out to bag and tag the evidence he pointed them to! There was no great WHO DONE IT!
I have to agree with some part of this rant - the part about feeding an ego for doing your job. It's your job. You're not Mother Theresa...giving of yourself, expecting nothing in return. You do your job for financial reimbursement, just like everyone else. No one gets a pat on the back for doing what they are supposed to be doing.
Dr. Owlsley. That name reminds me of another Owlsley; more of a chemist and an inventor than a forensic anthropologist, although he did spend some time with lots of skeletons. And he was the designer of the infamous Wall of Sound.
What a beast...he bent a piece of 0.080 in. thick aluminum. I cannot even fathom the strength one must possess in order to demonstrate such feats of awesomeness.
I’m sorry, but what type of storage system did Dr. Bass invent? I would hope that every skeleton gets it’s own box, or am I missing something? Also, my sister went to medical school, and after seeing the students making a mockery & being so disrespectful to the donated bodies, she vowed she would never do that. I guess it doesn’t matter if you’re dead, but it really affected her.
Just watching when I hear, "..also known as Aileen Warnos ....." Wait, what!?? I learnt all about her in other documentaries incl. some of her interviews/confession tapes etc. One being conducted with a fellow Aussie interviewer which was actually a pretty good one!! Ok back to it haha
I sat right next to her in a bar in port orange called the last resort while she was murdering men luckily I wasn't looking for a quick date. I know it was her cause she said her name ilene to the bartender. And the movie called MONSTER there is a clip of the same bar in the movie.
She's the only serial killer I felt sorry for. Every man she killed was A pervert and she'd been victimized her entire life. I don't agree with her actions but I understand.
Will never understand if a murderer admits to killing, says who, how & when..why our justice system has to have a body? Obviously this guy killed a poor elder lady they saw it, then have a judge find him guilty of whatever else he admits to & give him death penalty, or minimum in prison for life! Have him show them where he put the body & they find what they can. Seems like this psychotic evil murderer wants to go to jail so don’t put so much time & tax payers money to waste trying to find a body!
I am constantly wondering the same thing. I guess when they started telling a perp's complete story on Court TV, they didn't see the need to do "anthologies" (sorry, but I don't know what else to call it) of several cases linked together. I miss the shows that were done in this old format though.
@@maryannanderson2213 I think I missed my calling, I should have gone into Forensic. I used to think I was weird for wanting to watch these shows, but I find it so interesting and feel I would have been good at the science behind it all.
@ 0:23 Quote "another week and a half went by before the 51 year old Mallory turned up" Explain how a dead man TURNS up... ROFL He was found... Shot several times with a 22 calibre pistol... So he wasn't exactly walking about...
Unfortunately your state doesn't have a death penalty like out in california where I'm at! It's abolished like canada and are not as tough on crime as well!
