Okay it’s never right to kill a person but did they have to kill the dog too it did nothing wrong I mean roller Ricky did not deserve it but the killer thought that he was a part of George’s death but he wasn’t it’s confusing but long story short don’t kill dogs

I mean Forest isn't a trained 911 operator, I don't think Peggy would blame him/us for the deaths but it would be cool if she started to be cold toward him/us if we kept being an asshole (making joke when people die, being unsympathetic to the victims when on call, ect,) same for Roller Ricky. Its difficult to blame someone untrained for accidentally not saving people, but we can absolutely blame someone for being a jackass on air towards dead people

I like that idea, i would like this to be an ending with us being remorseless with everything and everyone. Maybe even help the killer erase the town because of us being tired of pranks and people getting in trouble because of their stupidity or careless. It would also show that not even all people who you believe in or trust as a friend can be 911 operators.

The quick yet shrill scream Eugene makes is both terrifying and heartbreaking. The emotion behind Ricky’s voice actor sounds real, and I swear I broke down in tears when Maxy dies.

To be fair, Ponty never insults the Whistling Man directly. If anything, what he was doing was just trolling Forrest and Peggy I'm sure Marie either found it funny or at the worst, just a mild annoyance

I could see that, would make more sense.

I think Ponty is there more for comic relief and letting go of tension throughout the game

Murphy could be in a career that supplies one. Rare for the time, but still a possibility. Or, he makes enough money to get his own. After all, he wasn’t originally from the town, only becoming a target because he challenged the Whistling Man. Perhaps his job moved him to Gallow’s Creek, and also felt it necessary to buy him a phone for easier communication? Two possible reasons for Eugene. One: While we don’t know his father’s line of work, his mother was a doctor (Mentioned in “Flu For Thought?” Newspaper clipping). His parents could’ve made enough to afford one, easily. Sure, they were a hefty fee for a time when pay phones and pagers were popular, and the average consumer likely wouldn’t have been able to afford one. But a doctor could potentially drop $2,500 (adjusted to roughly $5,700 today) without it even making a dent in their finances. Depending on their qualifications, field and/or success of their private practice. Two: Eugene’s parents were two of the five that died in the bus crash (mentioned in “Beep Beep! Lookout! Tragedy!” Newspaper clipping). While the posted article mentions police weren’t initially treating the crash as suspicious, there could’ve been evidence later on which changed the outcome of the investigation which wasn’t on the board. Maybe a negligence and/or wrongful death lawsuit against the bus company, or the tanker company which owned the truck they crashed into? In that event, he may have received enough money as the victim’s family to buy one. Obviously these are just my theories.

And serial killers from the 70s 80d even 90s have no trouble causing fear into people. They were a bigger threat to the innocence before death came to em.

My theory is that they didn't have anything thing against Martinez, so they just knocked her out but when they realised Leslie was getting help they tried to kill both of them, but failed. Better to have one person escaping than two (which mean Martinez probably wouldn't have died if Leslie left her locked out in the cell)
