True, but there had to be a beginning to video games. By the time we grow old, we will probably have Mortal Kombat 76, Street Fighter 65, and Killer Instinct 47, and those are just some fighting games. But guess what? When those people look back on the FIRST game of each series, the ones that started it all, they will see how awesome they were, and hopefully, they will appreciate and respect the series more. Who knows, some people may even be inspired to create their own.

You said it yourself, made you laugh. The dry British humour in the Rareware games are the best. Legit the best game company ever, no other company has produced so many cool games over so many different genres.
this is the kinda gameplay i like. actual back and forth hits, not someone just going through and beating everybody with no anticipation or suspense as to what could happen. making it completely fucking dull

Games like this will never exist, industry is now overpowered corporations that extract the creativeness of developers just to make a mediocre experience. This is a fine example of people doing what they do with love. Sure there are good games out there but most are repetitive in their nature and nothing makes you jump out of the sit, nowadays the franchises sell because of the name and impact the previous true games left back in the day.
If Rare was smart, they'd put this and KI2 on XBLA. The sales would clearly show people would want a KI3. It worked with the revival of Futurama and Family Guy due to their DVD sales.

Question , was this played on the snes version, cause i just bought it and i am having a hard time pulling off a 8 hit combo but i remember doing ultra's and high combos when i was like 12 ... :) maybe i got the wrong console :P
Yeah except in the NES version whenever Eyedol jumped backwards like he was he'd hit you (With his ass or whatever it was), plus any frontal attack was pretty useless since he'd block everything
I thought so too....I think they should have kept all the old characters and add new ones. My opinion is that it's dumb to take away characters. Every character no matter mundane has at least some fans.
@ganondor159: ultra64 w/killer instinct? this must be something old & you must be getting it online somwhere im guessing cuz i never heard of ultra64 & killer instinct hasnt been in stores in YEARS. they MUST make another. it seems like Killer Instict arcade for Xbox Live has been discussed. i believe its matter of time. hopefully its an Xbox exclusive. No disrespect 2 PS3 which I have 2 but they've had their share of exclusives already which is a big slap in the face 4 xbox owners............

@TKnHappyNess However, for some reason, Rare has this strict media-shy bond with Microsoft, they're now in a situation where Microsoft takes advantages out of Rare's profits. If they had complete control over their projects, then Perfect Dark 2 (zero's a so-so prequel), a true Conker sequel, Killer Instinct 3, a Battletoads remake and probably a Sabre Wulf complete console remake would be on their way. In other words, Microsoft's screwing Rare, badly.
Sabrewulf is the weakest character in this game. There was a flaw with his defense in that Glacius can use a crouching medium punch to freely hit Sabrewulf from a safe distance and it could not be blocked. I remember pissing off lots of opponents this way.
***** The tier list changes every time you start the game. He means the weakest character in general. I agree because he was sort of like TJ Combo, but without the sheer power. Still liked playing with him though!
Kj16V Fulgore only has 1 linker and all of his animations are extremely predictable, and he is slower than most of the cast. The fact that Sabrewulf has projectiles in this game makes him all the more powerful. And he has free combo breaker status howl.
...playable Joker 4 Arkham Asylum, Kratos 4 new MK game, GOW series, not having 2 pay unlike Xbox Live. both systems have their strengths & flaws so its not a matter pf which system is better IMO. @fuckatron5000: lol @ your username. The 2nd KI game is 4 N64. Aracde version was named Killer Instinct 2 but when it was released on N64 it was renamed Killer Instinct Gold 4 some reason which i still cant figure out.
