actually its the other way round Lambo Diablo uses Nissan 300ZX headlights most of the Supercars in the 80,90 and early 2000s borrow parts from various cars and truck and even buses mirrors, headlights, taillights
I’ve owned two z32 TT my first one spun a rod bearing and my second one had a little over 400 whp. Running stock turbos with nismo 555cc injectors, hicas eliminator kit, JWT eprom chip, dual JWT popchargers, HKS Bovs, z1 driveshaft, mbc, custom top speed exhaust. My interior and seats was red and I remember I swapped it out with the black leather and black interior. I can’t believe I sold it for measly 7k to a 17 year old kid who crashed 1 year later. This was back in 2010 and now these cars are so expensive smh😢 it was always my freaking dream to do a RB swap. I have a 2016 Q60 RS400 and a b13 Sentra se-r with a sr20ve Neo vvl swap.
Feel your pain bro. No would could have predicted these Jdm cars would sky rocket like they did. I had a 93 FD with 60k miles on it, sold it for 12k. Had the full JDM conversion and a repaint along some HKS parts and Defi gauges. Absolutely regret selling 😢.
Same. I bought a literally mint condition red 91 TT in 2010 for $7,800 and it had 62,000 miles dude. That car would be worth 35-40k right now. Insane. I totalled that car in the rain when I was 22. Traded it in 2012 for a 85 Toyota back to the future truck. Sold that with a blown motor for $2,700 in 2020. Now those are going for 15k.

It's even crazier that nissan fit a bigger v6 in there. I own a 93 maxima with the transverse VG30, and even that is a bitch to work on. Also I think he's right. RB30 suits this build so good.
@@sheshd The VG can make similar power for similar money when in good condition but there's so much more support for the RB. Plus the sound and power delivery is unbeatable

Nice car... Just a couple of clarifications. GTR is AWD, and RB25DET is not in a GTR either. Lamborghini uses Nissan 300zx headlights with the Nissan brand covered with a carbon fiber sticker.

huh? reliable? .. you do know that these cars are +30 yrs old so by the time you get one they're usually beat to shit or had shit work done to it by these "pro backyard mechanics" .. if you rebuild a good VG motor & know what your doing as well as use OEM/quality parts in the rebuild. as long as you stay up on the maintenance/preventative & take care of her, the motors will last & be reliable as well. .. I've daily'd a 400hp NA-TT the last 1.5yrs and beat the dog shit out that motor and I've never had a problem
Lambo took lights from Nissan. In 1999. Thats when the Diablo got the facelift Diablo SV. 1989 was the first year of the Z32. Im not a Lambo fan..lol thats why i always say they took lights from Nissan..not the other way. Thanks Clay for showing some real nice cars.
A VG is as reliable as the maintenance conducted on it... Usually a victim of cheapskate owners. RB's actually need more reliability mods as soon as they make power. *Source: owner of 3 RB's and one VG30DETT
Damn this guy doesn't even know his own car. Swapped the VG for a inferior engine, and says you can make easier power. Stock TT pump, 740cc injectors, Nistune, gt525 turbos on stock 4 bolt downpipes and you have 500whp. The VGTT is comparable to the 2jz. Makes up to ~650 without opening the engine.
Alot of upset vg fans here.. lol. They are great engines but in a cramped engine bay which leads to heaps of mechanical failures.. i know i used to have one. Now i have mk4 supra which miles above the 300zx but they do "feel" the same when you sit in one. This is a rare slicktop i was looking at getting another z32 slicktop this time but the prices have go through the roof.. i have a spare 2jz that i was going to throw in it 😂
NO Bro!! Come on! Everyone should already know that Lamborghini used the 300ZX Hearlights on their Diablos and Covered up the part that says NISSAN with a small Strip that was the same color as the body... LoL 😆

Spent way more money on a motor that is less reliable and makes less power than a "BPU" VG. Dude doesn't even know what motor came in the car for the first 5 minutes of the video🤣🤣 this review is ricer and🗑️..
