I worked in gas stations at night as my first job. RIP Bryan, you didn't deserve that. I really hope his mom is able to find peace but I can only imagine she was devastated by the loss of her son. This killer is the type of criminal that should get the death penalty. He killed a young man and assaulted a woman for a thrill. He also killed a cow for a thrill too and that is also a crime.

People are able to change HOWEVER other factors need to be considered such as the criminal's age, mental illness(es), prior criminal history (as well as a pattern of escalation), severity of the crime, impulsivity, among many other things to create a profile and determine the likelihood of reformation, or if it's even possible for the individual. So fucked up. Imagine you’re just shopping and some random kid runs up and sucker punches you? Obviously it’s nothing compared to being murdered but like. This is why I keep my eyes out any time I’m in public. Come running up on me and you’re getting hit way before you hit me. Especially with your phone out. Half the time at the store too I have my stepdaughter with me too. And if anything like that happened to her the aggressor would not make it out of the store alive. Holy shit. I saw a video on this channel once too of a crazy guy sucker punching a child in a store. You gotta keep your eyes open. No fault of any parent or victim for not seeing. But that stuff keeps me on my toes. Don’t get too close to me at the store let me tell you. I work in a restaurant and one day years ago a random woman walked up to my friend and slapped her in the face and ran! We have no security cameras or anything and nobody knew who she was cause she was dining alone and nobody knew why she did it! It was a light slap and my friend was fine and the managers told us not to call the cops but I did anyway but we never heard anything back and assume they just never found her. She could have come back a year later and I probably wouldn’t have remembered her face and my friend had quit by then.

@@thevegandragon_I don’t mean to sound possibly insensitive, but those words don’t really apply to animals. Torture in some cases yeah, but not when Horse racing is the convo. Not to mention, most places have laws against animal cruelty, so it’s not legal everywhere. Actual Horse Racing companies worth their salt, actually treat those horses better than an average person may treat their personal horse. Naturally, like all things, there are the bad apples who make the rest look bad, but that’s life. As well as possible unfortunate circumstances of simply playing the sport, which makes it no different than any other sport, really. Some people suck. Rodeos however I do agree with, they are very stressful for the animals and they have a higher likelihood of getting injured. However, rape and murder don’t apply by any means. Those words are sticky used, and defined, when only human beings are the victims. Animals, however much we may love them, are not Human. And thus can’t be used with such words, nor should an animal be held to equal standing to a Human. Animals being raised for slaughter, yes while often in bad conditions, are animals who were bred, raised, and killed for consumption. They are a food source, and we as humans have evolved to be able to eat, or learn to eat, pretty much everything and anything. It’s not pretty. But nature isn’t either. What we do, is just a far more advanced and lucrative version of what carnivorous animals to every day when they hunt for food.

The severity of gunshot wounds can unfortunately be overlooked when a patient is coherent and responsive at the time of the shooting. A gunshot wound to the stomach or lungs can also take a prolonged time to cause serious injury or death, like in the case of internal bleeding. Sometimes the damage from one or multiple gunshots to the torso/stomach causes so many complications it’s almost impossible to recover from, even with modern medicine. It’s a brutal and painful way to die Look up Ryan Waller, he was the victim of a home invasion where a son and father crime duo murdered his girlfriend and attempted to murder him in his sleep. When police arrived, Ryan had a black eye and brain damage from 2 gunshot wounds to the head that he miraculously survived at the time, but police suspected it was a domestic violence incident so they forced him to be interrogated for over 2 hours, despite him asking for medical attention multiple times and verbalizing how he couldn’t understand or comprehend what was had even happened (because of the brain damage). He was ultimately given medical care, was found to have two bullets inside his head, and was acquitted of all the charges. Unfortunately he later passed away from complications from the gunshot wounds and resulting brain injuries that could’ve been prevented had he been treated earlier. The police department completely covered their tracks, and had the family’s case for wrongful death dropped of course. Cops witness shootings more than any emergency response force, so often they become so desensitized and forget the urgency of these cases and how crucial just minutes can change a life or death situation for someone.

@audreym3777 It doesn't seem that way, and how sad that is. When one has become de-personalized, and no longer grasps the concept of the value of human life, it becomes very easy for them to do such things as this. When a society has reached the point that SPCA's campaigns invoke more tears than that of news reports of a murder of a child, an elderly individual, or a newly-wedded couple just leaving the church, it has become dehumanized. Trust me, I weep over lost or stray animals, starving animals, animal cruelty, ... but not so much as for the preborn, infants, babies, young children, teens, young adults, the elderly, the infirm, the mentally challenged, just the everyday man-on-the-street who may be suffering in some fashion. Empathy. Love and a genuine concern for fellow mankind. We are born with it but we can be subjected to things, or because of things, that shut the door in one's mind to the compartment that holds our empathy. We live in a throw away world. And people have become disposal. May God have mercy on the souls that genuinely seek Him.

What kind of stupid do you have to be to publicly post crimes to a social media with your full LEGAL NAME?! Also, "knock-out" trend? Wtf is wrong with people? Can't we go back to the trend of like, idk, handing out water to service workers on hot days? That seems like it would get a lot more attention, especially positive attention.
@TehKitteh01
@TehKitteh01 2 месяца назад
I think some of it is just that sharing everything on social media is so ingrained in people's minds, they don't care what they post, and for people like him who are looking for attention, they get instant gratification. The lack of remorse adds to it. Earlier this year, 2 teens that lived near me stabbed a 14 year old to death, then took a selfie with the knife they used. That picture got them a ton of attention immediately, of course it also made catching them much easier, but they know hundreds of people saw it before it got removed.

My heart goes to the victims and their families. I really wish that there was more help for people challenged by mental illness. @@Imnotadentist556 I’m not sure why you mentioned WWI, Schizophrenia has no known cause or cure (currently). One of the only things that we know increases the odds of getting it is being genetically related to someone else who has it. It can arise suddenly and start at almost any age across a person’s life. Medications are available to alleviate the symptoms somewhat but they’re not perfect yet. I do think it’s incredibly wrong when the diagnosis is misused by criminals who don’t actually have it bc they think pleading insanity will lessen their jail time (and who then further skew the way people perceive others who have schizophrenia). Most who have schizophrenia are good people who are just trying their best to live a “normal” life and need extra help with recognizing what is and isn’t real

@@d_stin You will always get a SMALL amount of brain damage when knocked out. It's often just not enough to be noticeable, especially since other brain cells can take over whatever the killed cells were doing. But if it goes bad, you may die instantly, and even best case scenario, there will be some accumulative damage (which is why boxers' brains will have shrunk more than average during competing, and why they have higher rate of mental degradation as they age). You could also get a small cut that leaves a scar every day - it's not much if you look at one of them, but in the end, your body would still be covered in small scars.
