The nylon band still has the message #exploreperfection, it’s just that it’s on the other side of the band that you didn’t look at. 😂 After using a silicone band on my Apex I actually prefer the nylon band that came with my Apex 2 surprisingly.

Dave, I am super sad. Lost my Epix during a dive near Phuket in the Andaman sea. This happened because I had a velcro strap, which is great for fitting tight on your wrist for runs but not suitable for scuba diving. Probably it loosened in the water and my Epix is now a sightseeing for fish. Thankfully I haven't sold my Suunto 9 Baro, but I guess you understand how it feels to go back from Epix 2 to 9 Baro...no extra 1,000$ to buy another one for the moment, I will wait for the 3. Very sad.

Very nice watch and video 👍🏻 For some reason I get drawn to it although I’m running Garmin 965 🙈 Thus, wanted to ask have you run with Apex 2 lately and has its GPS relative (under)performance vs. latest Garmins has improved over the time? Or the GPS antenna designs flaws are unfixable?

I got the email about the launch and just deleted it - blah blah blah marketing. But this actually is a pretty great promotion and colab by Coros. If I was going to get the Apex 2 Pro, this would be the one to get. I think it looks great. (When I deleted the email I knew if it was anything interesting, you or one of my RU-vidrs would tell me about it 😁)

Question, Apex 2 Pro vs Garmin Enduro 2? With that said I understand we are talking twice as much for the Garmin Enduro 2, but sounds like a great watch. Thanks in advance

Enduro 2 has significantly more functionality in terms of on-board music, full mapping/navigation, wellness and sleep tracking metrics, and longer battery life in GPS mode. It also has the built in flashlight if that's something you'd find useful. But yeah, it's literally twice the price and it's also a bigger watch which may not fit everyone's preference. The Apex 2 Pro is a really nice watch in its own right. It really boils down to what features you value. The COROS options prioritize battery life, reliability, and being a simpler tool.

As with everything... It depends. The 255 is a newer watch and has a few new features that the Fenix 6 didn't get like the race calendar widget, multi-band GPS, the new Optical HR sensor. However, the Fenix 6 has an advantage in build quality and the fact that it has full blown mapping/navigation while the 255 does not.

Hello Dave !!! - Very nice video - as usual-. You strike me with the 1st statement. I hope this thing make me faster, probably not. Watches and running gadgets will slow you down due to weight. But are fun and now are essential in this social media era that we live in. At least that is how I see it. Nice watch though. Cheers.

They're both pretty awesome. I guess if you value build quality and simplicity, and battery life, the COROS might be the way to go. The 955 certainly has more features though!

Autant le modèle Kipchoge était sympa, coloré et unique, autant ce modèle est insignifiant. Absolument aucun rapport avec Jornet ! Même pas une signature ou un signe distinctif. Juste du noir et blanc, assez laid. C'est une déception.
