Theo, there was an experiment on rats, during this experiment they would administer small electrical shocks to their feet when they smelled cherry blossoms, The animals eventually learned to associate the scent with pain, fearful in the presence of it even without shocks, the offspring of these rats were then raised to adulthood without any interaction with cherry blossoms, BUT they exhibited increased sensitivity when introduced to its smell even shaking in its presence. Descendants of mice that had been conditioned to be startled by a different smell or that had gone through no such conditioning showed no fear at all. A third generation of mice - the 'grandchildren' - also inherited this reaction. So your thoughts on genetic memories/imprints have some backing by science.

Thank you Theo for speaking on Erik Myers. He was highly underrated. It's weird I was thinking about Erik a couple days ago and wishing there was more content from him. I was remembering how hilarious his little clips were on his channel where he was just messing around with new bits. They cracked me up and I used them when I was really feeling down or when covid started and shit was real weird and uncertain. The thought I had a few days ago was to try and message him to tell him how much his comedy had helped me in dark times and to thank him. I found out today that he was having his own dark times and had passed away. Thank you Erik for helping me laugh in my dark times. ♥️🙏 R.I.P. brother.

Thanks Theo, keep doing the next right thing, you are a light. I appreciate having your point of view and sharing your struggle helps more than you know. Being sober is a blessing I sometimes take for granted, and then get back to meditation and all the tools I need to use. My brother also struggled, and lost his life in a car accident a month after he became a dad, just a month ago, and it is devastating. Everyone in is their own bubble of different pain, his girlfriend is now a new mom and now a single one, breaks my heart. It is so rough, piled on top of this past year of isolation. Keep lifting spirits, you do even when you're not feeling it.
