First day with my Kilpatrick Phenol. GREAT synth. No added effects or post production. Straight from the synth. Anyone who was on the fence about buying one, I would say go for it. For the money not much else comes close.
Best Phenol demo so far... I only have three complaints with my phenol: not enough cables in box - I had to order a second set. The knobs get loose very quickly, I would have liked fluid filled - especially on the tune and fine tune so a tiny bump doesn't slew the tuning, also wish the filter controls were low on the unit for easy access without digging through cables. For the price though it's a good bargain and it does sound great. I can make tons of farts and siren noises and once in awhile I get something great until I move a cable :)
