Been there done that I have been divorced for two weeks my husband would get mad because I would bend to my kids my grandkids and have a grag out fight about me buying things and before my son died I had not talk to my son in a year because he did not like the relationship so when he ask for a divorce he tells me that died when my son died and that he doesn't even like my daughter and now that the divorce is final he wants to still control and wants me to take him back I don't think so

While commendable, be careful, as some children could be spoiled and just want their parents to themselves. You could lose out on a great partner and be alone. Then your children go off to live their lives with someone you don't approve of.

her kids seem very lazy, soft, and entitled. They never had a father in their life, of course they are not gonna be used to a father doing a father's job, but it will benefit them in the long run

This is some of what I was thinking.. he has issues to work out but it seems like mom was soft with her kids and when a man came in and placed boundaries, it’s a problem. I have a friend whose daughter was really lax about everything , mom would tell her 50 times to clean up, or when she would talk back, she would get off easy. Well she has a man around and he’s like.. yea when you tell her to do something, she needs to do it, you’re too lenient and allow her to get away with stuff. So it’s definitely been an adjustment for them. Not saying he is doing things the right way, but I’m sure some of the issue is a man being there actually placing boundaries on them and the mom agreeing because she’s never been able to do so. And just because a child is quiet or soft spoken doesn’t mean they aren’t oppositional or defiant.

Mothers take no accountability.. he told his mom how she wasn't there for him and then she responds with her experiences smh.. when a man opens up about his feelings very few women know how NOT to insert there own past... Acknowledge the hurt you caused

@@leirras2797Exactly! There was never anything mentioned about her boys lacking structure. He came into their lives and decided that things should look and operate to his liking. That's a recipe for resentment and disaster. Thankfully he now understands his approach was wrong.

I don’t know if I agree. I’m a single mom with only one son. It was not relaxed, I was at school, I imposed and stuck to curfews. Our house was clean and food was cooked and he was very loved.

Partners... What is that? *Moving in* a partner? Dads who made the kids can't father them. So, the dads leave the family. Moms need healing the most because moms think they can raise boys with love alone. Dad brings something mom's don't have.

She's not desperate. Not at all and you have to remember therapists are also human beings as well. They're not perfect. David issues would have had to be addressed with his mom because that is part of the problem and he is who he is because of his mom.

I just watched about 15 mins or so but the sons seems to be spoiled and like they haven't had a strong male figure in their life. The aunt seems over bearing. She doesnt haven't like or agree with the parents parenting style.
