Here's an interesting fact MLK was an ally of the LGBT community and one of his speech writers was an openly gay man. He refused to fire his writer based on his sexual orientation and said that we are fighting for everyone's civil rights and not just one group's civil rights. To compare Kim Davis to Martin Luther King Jr is a real slap in the face to the civil rights movement. First off MLK and Rosa parks were NOT elected government officials. Also there was a time where government officials like her violated the Supreme Court's ruling in favor or interracial marriage and integration. She is has NOTHING in common with MLK and Rosa Parks. There was a time where people used the bible to try to deny interracial marriage and integration. Seriously people READ YOUR HISTORY!
