What does the immediate future have in store for my DVD overview channel now that I’ve finished my runthrough of the Phineas and Ferb DVDs in my collection?
Well, since making those P&F videos have put me in the right mood to do so, I'll be showcasing the DVDs I have of all the OTHER television shows produced by Disney to celebrate Disney Channel's 40th anniversary on April 18, 2023!
I am going through all my collection in the order in which the shows featured on them made their television premiere, divided into three categories: Disney Television Animation productions, live-action Disney shows, and programs not made by Disney that aired in most countries on and are widely associated with Disney’s networks. It's sure to be a MAGICALLY good time!
After a six-week hiatus caused by a special upload marathon consisting of the entire contents for four discs each from shows owned by Corus Entertainment and/or WildBrain, my “Disney television show DVD overview” video series is officially back! To celebrate Women’s History Month, it’s now time to cover the DVD releases I own of the series focused on the action-loving lady who more than lives up to her last name of the opposite of impossible! I do not currently own either of the two season DVD box sets of Kim Possible from 2010, but I DO have all of the single-disc DVD releases of the series that were put out when the show was still premiering new episodes on Disney Channel, bundled together in a 4-pack titled “Kim Possible: The Classic Animated Series” that was released on February 3, 2019 as a tie-in promotion for the show’s then-upcoming live-action DCOM (which also has a DVD release, but I don’t own that disc for obvious reasons).
Since I already covered both of Kim Possible’s two compilation DVDs, it’s time to tackle the DVD releases of both of K.P.’s two made-for-TV movies (that aren’t awfully written live-action). We begin with the first of those two telefilms, “A Sitch in Time”, which was released on DVD (and also VHS) on March 16, 2004. The 2004 home video releases of the telemovie are notably the only two ways you can obtain it in its original unedited form, as Kim Possible’s Complete Second Season DVD box set and Disney+ both split the film into three regular episodes of the show like how the movie usually airs in reruns. Just like the other two Kim Possible discs I’ve already covered on this channel, the DVD also includes a music video and gallery disguised as a “game”, though instead of covering the villains, this disc’s gallery tackles the past, present, and future of Kim, Ron, and Rufus in a very tongue-in-cheek manner. Unfortunately, I once again couldn’t get the gallery to play properly on my PC past the opening, but I hope you still find this video entertaining, and maybe even nostalgic, anyways.
Here’s a list of everything you’ll find in this overview of the DVD release of Kim Possible’s “Sitch in Time” movie…
OPENING:
1.) FBI Warnings
2.) Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo (2001-07) (encoded in 1.66:1 widescreen, which thankfully matches the presentation of the film itself, making the aspect ratio seen here an appropriate choice)
3.) Home on the Range theatrical trailer (groan!)
4.) Brother Bear VHS and DVD promo (which mostly recycles the material seen in the film’s theatrical trailer seen on the first Kim Possible DVD)
5.) The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride - 2-Disc Special Edition DVD commercial
6.) Main menu
7.) Disney DVD logo (2001-05)
8.) Start of film
CLOSING:
1.) End credits for the movie (oddly, there aren’t any closing logos following the credits)
2.) DVD menu walkthrough
3.) Music video: “The Naked Mole Rap” by Will Freidle and Nancy Cartwright
4.) Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers - “Premiering only on VHS and Disney DVD” trailer
5.) Mulan II: “Premiering exclusively on VHS and Disney DVD” trailer
6.) Lizzie McGuire VHS and DVD ad
7.) That’s So Raven: “Watch it on Disney Channel and ABC Kids” promo
8.) W.I.T.C.H. commercial (advertising the comic books that would eventually inspire the criminally underrated Disney television series that premiered on ABC Kids and the Jetix block on Toon Disney)
Perhaps thanks to its movie status, the show’s original widescreen aspect ratio has been preserved for the feature here, unlike on Kim Possible’s The Villain Files DVD.
That’s it! Next time, Kim’s time in the spotlight will finally come to a close as I showcase the menus and bonus goodies included on the DVD release of her second and final (animated) made-for-TV movie, originally intended to be the series finale until Disney renewed the show for a fourth season at the very last minute.

Nice video! I hope you can do the rest of the Growing Up with Winnie the Pooh DVDs as well since DiamondBoy did volumes 1, 2 and 5.

A Sitch in Time was the only Kim Possible TV film to be presented in its original 5:3 (1.66:1) aspect ratio, the next film So the Drama used the 16:9 (1.78:1) aspect ratio on its DVD release.

But... this video shows it in 16:9. Plus, the episodes were made in that aspect ratio
