I'm sorry but I must object. A major chunk of the fandom has still not recovered from the infamous 'ani' in episode 11. We would definitely not survive an entire audiobook.
She is probably innocent. Do all of that without realizing her action make other party feel dugeun-dugeun. Believe me. I have met some girls like that. Or she really is playing innocent 😂
This drama deserves award for best heart warming drama of 2021...who else agree?! Everyone here is loving and caring..even the step mother isn't an evil one...all I can see is warmth alone!
When he stopped at "thus, denying my love.." he really knew she's the one 🌟⭐..the one whom he can't live without.. the one without whom the house feels empty and his soul feels foreign ..his love for her will be his answer to everything
I know this seems like the typical city-slick-girl-finding-romance-in-the -countryside story but why is it so good?! I usually don't like this kind of romance but Hometown Cha Cha Cha hits different. What do you guys think is the charm? I'm trying to get my sister to watch it but she's not impressed with the plot (based on my story-telling) and I don't know how to explain it without sounding too cliche! Lol...
It’s the “I love you but won’t admit it and their actions would say otherwise” Both are trying to fight their feelings for each other🥰 Hye Jin is afraid it might not work because of their differences, Chief Hong is afraid he might end up losing her as well just like all the people he loved passed away and left him alone🥺
Well it is a cliché drama tbf. But the actors are the ones giving this drama huge stonks. I guess a lot of people needed this drama given how dirty they did han ji pyeong in start up 😂 if your sister ain't convinced with kim seon ho, then maybe there's no chance convincing her sadly...
The plot may be basic but honestly I think it really is the characters and community they’ve created in the town that makes this drama so sweet and heartwarming. It’s cliche how they were connected to the town since childhood but aside from Dusik and Ms. Dentist’s love story it’s about them finding their life’s purpose and healing from their family trauma together. I’ve seen people say how this drama is different compared to others because male leads typically are stone cold and have to open up to the female leads while second male leads end up being the most generous nice guy who deserves better but in cha cha cha all the leads are very polite yet strong-minded with soft sides for one another. All the different character interactions could easily give you laughs, cries, smiles, or butterflies bc they just fit so well. Just some examples to explain the drama’s charm from my POV :)
it's in the execution. the drama leaves you warm, full and happy after every episodes. the drama also takes its sweet time to build the rapport between our leads (some sees this as cons but to each their own) and doesnt vilify the second lead in order to make people believe the OTP is the one to me, the leads bond and them being comfortable around each other is the biggest selling point because just look at them..
@@juliangabrieltinapay6738 you're right! I watched Startup and felt so heart-broken! I guess I'll have my sister watch Startup first. Everything about this drama feels like a redemption for KSH!
Can we have an audiobook with Chief Hong’s (Kim Seon Ho’s) voice? This might be the cure to my insomnia. 😂 I may not be able to understand it but it might put me to sleep. 😂🤣
I have watched this scenes 20 times while waiting for the next episode and still gets butterflies >< Everything is so simple, yet extraordinarily beautiful and heartwarming. Best kdrama of the year for sure !
Love how they literally fell asleep like that while shooting the last scene 🥰 It was shown behind the scenes how tired they were so they really slept haha.
This was also the moment where all of us (viewers) knew for sure that Hong Banjang have already accepted that HE's ready to level up their relationship. Actually, maybe the reason also why he was in Hye-jin's area that night, he was about to confess his feeling for her. 💙🥰😍🥰 #AddictedToHCCC 💙🇵🇭 #SikHye 😍
I think he was - the last we saw of him in ep9 was him thinking about her Dad telling him that that he could be the good man who deserved her and then he started walking faster.
@@quadling3521 what I really like about this drama is both of the leads don't hesitate to talk to each other after they know how they feel. In most romcoms, any conversation can be stopped because of little misunderstanding and dragged to the end of the series which makes us feeling frustrated about it. And the way they make Sikhye confessed first is brilliant! The love confession can be done by girl, straightforward and clear, without being annoyingly attached to the male lead with unhealthy way of love. I love this ship waaaay too much 🥺🥺🥺 can we get more drama like this pls 🥺🥺🥺
The person he told could have been the person who died in the five years he was away that we saw him at the funeral of in a flashback... but it could also be his therapist, who we already know knows about it. Meaning Hye-Jin is either actually the third he told and he’s not counting his therapist or she is the first person outside of his therapist that he is telling.
Hometown ChaChaCha is my most favorite Kdrama now. How dare people say that it's a boring drama. It's heartwarming Drama and deserves an award. I love all the episodes and am excited to watch them. I love how dusik laughs silently when hyejin say Damn It. 😂😂😂
Now that I'm rewatching it, I realised he says to her that HE also doesn't make just anybody his friend, really early on when she wants to detach from him. Especially after all the rumours and the kiss he denies. Damn they both really felt something
I bought airpods 2 months ago and finally find it usefull after listen to Kim Seon Ho's voice reading a poem. Give it a try, and butterflies will start flying in you stomach and then your heartbeat will increase like crazy!
The way they support eachother is beautiful and take care of eachother despite not knowing eachother that well yeat. The love they have for eachother is beautiful and i'm just happy they got together they make a beautiful couple❤❤❤❤
They both are so comfortable around each other 🥰🥰... I have listened to a poem after a long time...waiting for their romance to blossom 😍..cute dimple couple 💜🔥

I'm so in love this drama.. funny 😀, lovely, and all kind of the interesting things, Hye Jin and Du Sik are really a best couple 😀 I love this scene. And, I watched it again and again, because I'm so damn falling in love with this drama 💕
Love this drama to bits. I see a lot of myself in Hye-jin, because I fell for a Chief Hong. Like Hye-jin, I’m a reserved city girl with a few close friends who keeps to herself and dislikes getting too involved in others lives. Like Mr. Hong, he is an easy-going, laid back guy who gave up a lucrative architecture career to travel around the world and do odd jobs. Quick to make friends up keeps his deepest secrets out of reach. He made me appreciate the simple things in life and tease out the playfulness in me. I never felt more comfortable around another person. I’d make excuses to drop by his place. He’d make excuses to drop by my office. It’s been 5 years since we danced around each other like this, and became great friends in the process. We’ve lived in different parts of the world in between, but whenever we were in the same town, we’d be quick to see each other and then the dance would begin. We’d hang out for the whole day and he’d still walk me all the way to a mall he insisted he didn’t like. He’d invite me over when he cooked my favourite curry and lent me his sweater when the evening got chilly. All the while insisting to curious eyes that we were just friends. Then the halmoni incident happened. Someone who’s like a godmother to me, and a big sister to him intervened and told him he was giving off strong signals for someone who’s not interested, and that he should just declare his intention towards me. Things changed after that. He closed himself off and left the country, and now I’ve lost a good friend. I know he has unresolved past trauma from a divorce, and he only “does” short-term relationships. But him leaving without so much as a goodbye has hurt me deeply, and I’m not sure I can ever go back to being friends. I never got to tell him my side of the story. So here I am, passing it on in a RU-vid comment :(
I hope your story is not over yet and that you find your true happy ending soon. I too, lost a good friend because of stupid things. I hope he is doing well. And I hope your friend recovers soon and lives a happy healthy life.
Haha...like the material, Seon Ho boyfriend material indeed, warm n cute. Hope to see Seon Ho on swoon play games, he is so fun entertaining n cute n the games are very interesting which suit Seon Ho, his reaction is so funny...makes people happy.
