He was a member of an iconic group called DEUX in the 90s. I'm not just saying, actually they were really famous. Tragically, after his first solo debut performance("So to Say") he was found dead in his hotel. It is still one of the most shocking events in the Korean music industry. And It was a mysterious death. Many fans still miss him so much and want to know the reason for his death. I just wanted to let you know guys about the backstory as a person who is enjoying k-pop reactions. I love your channel too. Thank you for the reaction.

He is a legend, and one of the DEUX members engraved on rapper Zico's arm tattoo is Kim Sung-jae. One of the singers that always miss Thank you for reacting to Kim Sungjae's song.👍

Guys, your reactions to "old stuff" is getting borderline insulting. If you just want to laugh about it without doing research and respecting what it meant to people at the time, I suggest you do that on your own time and not as published reactions. I've been trying to explain that politely before, but it obviously didn't sink in. Being disrespectful to another era is just as bad as doing it to a different culture in one's own time, if it is contemporary history, meaning that people from that era are still living.

I think you need to get off your high horse lmao. What did they say that was disrespectful at all? The fact that they didnt heavily research a video for a first time reaction? Its ridiculous to think that theres a need for that. They enjoyed the video and had nothing to say about Kim Sungjae as a person, certainly nothing negative. His story is absolutely tragic, but would knowing that have helped them enjoy the video any more? They were disrespectful to him by honestly enjoying the work that he made, without prejudice to who he is or what happened to him? Sounds fake to me.

@@aligensa Like-count Andy. Please, the amount of bad takes I've seen with hundreds of thousands of upvotes/hearts/likes. Absolute clown shit that you think 8 likes means anything about the validity of your opinion. Its clear nothing is going to change your mind, but it must be a sad existence to go around expecting everyone to know everything you know, at all times, or if not they must research it for untold amounts of time until they know it. Then, they must enjoy it in a way that YOU deem appropriate, because certainly smiling and laughing at the nostalgia they are feeling at a fun 90s song is certainly disrespectful. Whatever man, keep being pissed I guess.

@@AvaPlaya13 Its not fun, and its not nostalgia because its not their history, its other people's. Its condescending and derisive, because it wasnt intended as funny and it wasnt to people at the time. One doesnt need any research to know that, because the reason to choose a song in the first place is simply because it was meaningful to people. And the comments and likes do mean something here, because there are so few of them overall. People who watch this arent doing so randomly because it popped up in their recommendations. And btw, you are discrediting yourself by your insulting tone as well.
