Kimi Ni Todoke: From Me to You | Manga Recommendation

I just love Kimi Ni Todoke so much, there's just something with the story that captures my attention and emotions. The characters, the plot, and dialogues made me more into it. This is the only manga that doesn't make me stress and even make my mood brighter. Also, it doesn't show toxicity and I relate with the awkwardness of the main character, Sawako, and eventually love her more with her character development. Anyways, I agree with you! I cried a lot when Ayane and everyone excluding Chizu leaves their town.

I just love the innocence between the characters, it kept me invested throughout the whole thing ❤

Hey, I haven't read the manga, but I just finished season 2 of the anime which I believe covers up to volume 10 of the manga. I do plan on picking up the manga and continuing the story because I was just as touched and as captivated by this beautiful story as you were. This anime/manga is beautiful and so relatable, I'm not a high school student, not even college but it resonated with me very deeply and in just those two seasons, I felt so much and I related so much with the characters, I even kinda liked Kurumi by the end of season 2 (volume 10) just because she too grew from being manipulative to being more genuine and I loved seeing that. I'm right there with you on Ryu and Chizuru, so much that as much as I wanted them to get together in season 2, I held back and I was thinking 'the timing isn't right for you guys yet, and I get that and appreciate the author for not rushing this' but man I'm shipping them so much and just waiting for it to happen cos Ryu is already there, Chizu just needs to catch up and I know she will, but it is about timing with those two, I always got that vibe whilst watching that if it is rushed then something beautiful would be ruined, I don't want that so I'll wait :). Then Sawako, yeah I love her too, very much, so much that her bravery and courage to face her fears and to move forward not because she is not afraid but that she pushes on anyway, actually inspired me in my life personally to take those brave steps too so she holds a dear place in my heart. I like in fact love how respectful Kazehaya is, he's such a wholesome boy (for the most part, he has flaws too, he's human, another detail I appreciated about him), and the way he supports Sawako and believes in her, stands by her, roots for her, encourages her, I mean *grabs tissues* what more can I say without saying too much. The ladies Chizu and Ayane are the best girlfriends and I love how supportive they are of each other, all three of them including Sawako. Kimi ni Todoke does a good job of building actual healthy relationships, that leave the reader/ watcher feeling satisfied and wholesome just watching them all interact that its a beautiful thing and gem to be able to witness. I just love that although its a shoujo manga/anime, it really does a lot in layering all of its characters, so that I'm invested in them all and care for all relationships outside of the romance, and just like relatable things occurring and how the characters deal with them by being sincere no matter how difficult that is sometimes..................honestly, this anime made me feel glad to have been born during this specific timeframe/time period just so I could experience it, that's how much it has grown in my heart. Really incredible video, I loved it! And I aggressively agree with everything you said! It was such an incredible and heartwarming coming-of-age story. It’s my all time favorite and will forever hold a super special place in my heart!! It’s been years already but I’m still sad they didn’t animate past volume 7 (or was it 10?) because I just loved the second half of the manga, it expanded the side characters, gave them so much more depth and it’s just fair to say that I would die for all of them LOL I gotta say that Ayane’s whole arc definitely caught me by surprise! It just seemed so different to the usual innocent-type romance drama the other ships or characters had, and I enjoyed every second of her journey, hands down my favorite character! So proud of her!! I could keep talking forever about all of the characters and all the reasons why I love Kimi ni todoke, but you summed it up so very well, props to you! It makes me really happy to find someone who enjoyed it as much as I did! Thank you so much for this video! Also, would it be rude to ask where did you get your manga volumes? I’ve been wanting to buy all of them for quite a while now, and I’d like to have as many options as possible before deciding! But no pressure, I was just wondering!

My favorite character is Ryuu, but all of them are gorgeous, some times I thought of Kazehaya as "Baka" haha as Chizu would thinlk of him. Sawako is an excelent protagonist I love her most of the time. The only one I do not like is Shouta's father, he was violent and there is no way that is right.
