Totally agree. I don’t know whether this is just a US thing or whether this kind of reaction is normal in other countries like it was here in India, but here in the UK where I am even though it’s clear many people reacted to moments in the film, none of them were as hyper and prevalent like this. It’s rather disappointing honestly as I would love to experience reactions in cinemas like they do perhaps in the US rather than here in the UK. I mean, it is nice when people are quiet in cinema so you can enjoy the movies, but if you don’t perhaps get the same audience reaction that you really want to express outwards in that moment, it can be a little disappointing in a way.
@@GigaChad-vz9ng 😴this movie is for entertainment and every watching this movie knows well Well we don't need this advice,as we know 😴how fake allegations cases are rising in country.
Makoto Shinkai Sensei Festival starting May 19th onwards again in India, hope they release it wide this time in all metro cities ✌️ then I can witness it on big screen 💕
@@Karthi_69 Yep, it was phenomenal. Luckily got into the exclusive fan screening a week before release and the audience was super hyped but was very respectfully quite through out the film. We only cheered at the title drop and the ending :)
It is still my favourite movie not in anime only but over all from Hollywood to Bollywood this movie is my most favourite. If there would be any chance to re-watch it again for the first time❤❤🛐🛐
DAME IT I FELL BAD NOT BEING IN CHENNAI... THOU I HAVE WATCHED THIS MOVIE A THOUSAND TIMES BUT STILL I WANT TO WATCH IT IN BIG SCREEN AND CRY A LOT......
Thank you for the interesting video. I could not understand why the audience was excited by the scene where Mitsuha meets Taki, a junior high school student, on the train.
That's how it's supposed to be! They're First time meeting each other in person what do you expect from fans to do, Watch it in pin drop silence...? If that doesn't excite enough to make you scream in joy then I don't know what else makes you
@@anjalimyla216i don't know bro to be honest loud cheering and screaming are ok for certain type of movies like avengers endgame e.t.c but these type of movies are more enjoyed silently
Would love a crowd reaction like this. But everytime I go to the cinema, kids behind me kick my back, people are on their phones the entire time (why you go the a cinema then?), talking loudly, or are literally commenting everything that is happening. (Had a child a row behind me once, when I watched Spirited Away. Even a blind person could have followed the movie, because they commented EVERYTHING.)
Solid fking show and music. I've never feel like this in my life. It's like unlocking new feeling or emotion. Shinkai Next movies are alright it's ok. Typical movie. But kimi no na wa gave me something that I've never knew it exist. And I've watched over 300+ Anime. This one of my favorites and Best Anime movie. It maybe a normies take but I'm gladly take it.
All the people commenting here “Typical Indian movie theatre experience….. people cheering and screaming” So what do u guys expect, First of all it’s one of the best Anime movie out there and even in the movie….. Taki and Mitsuha are meeting for the first time….. you expect people to sit and watch it in pin drop silence???
Actually i dont know why you guys enjoy watching this kind of movie (makoto’s movie) with this audience. I prefer a calm one where there are no noise so i can hear the ost, and feels the movie better lmao. Well you can scream and shout at the end of the movie, not in the important scene where the beautiful ost is played. Like bro, kimi no nawa got the best ost and you gotta enjoy it. Not screaming like you are on a freaking concert
I don't know I really like the audience reciprocate the feeling that I am getting in the movie. The blank audience seems so souless to me... Of course it's just me

@@AtulKumar-zp2bt fans for anime in India have been around for decades ...it's just that u are noticing right now... And even they r rising it's not for these stupid teenage romance films...it's for Naruto and Aot etc..
@@GigaChad-vz9ng fine everyone is different and if u can't accept that's your problem 😴we don't care 🖕 Everyone has different choice try to respect atleast better away from Indian animation and movie industry
well i get what you mean but the thing is that this was showed in november 2022, when most of the people here had already seen the movie so they attended the theater just to show support and enjoy it on big screen and hence were shouting and whistling...it's not like we shout at any random moment (sometimes we might do but i've not seen it happen)
