Man, this awesome Professor Rob! Love the idea of using one trap system per narrated roll!

Nilo Ayson yeah in the instructional he also does the triangle choke, armbar, omoplata, Kimura, standard ashi and 411 positions.

Professor Kesting, At 3:19 he threw his leg over his arm, in a failed attempt at omoplatta, but it still helped him gain control and isolate that arm. Do you reccomend going for that maneuver from side control or that position to gain control of that arm? p.s Does the bald look help you get more ladies?

Ethiopian Phenomenon in general probably not, but it’s a good recovery mechanism. And as for the ladies, please, it’s “shaved” not “bald”. Shaved is a choice ;)

Can you go for an arm bar using that same kimura grip? It looks similar but differenr?
@rand_-mk5lb

So the kimura grip can be used for setups for other subs?
@StephanKesting
@StephanKesting 5 лет назад
Absolutely yes. And in the slippery world of no gi grappling it is one of the best controls you can get over your opponent

@@rand_-mk5lb Make sure to also drill using that grip to transition to the back! It's so versatile...

@@StephanKesting Would that be when I bait my opponent with a north-south kimura and when he/she gets up, I fall to the side and bring my hooks in?
