Do you know how to assemble the Kinderkraft JOY travel cot? All you need to do is unfold the base and tug on the longer sides until you hear a "click". Do the same with the shorter side, press the base in and voilà! The video will show you how to affix the base so that it doesn't move around, and how to attach the round handles for learning how to stand up so that your child is safe.
You can fold the JOY travel cot down to a compact size and take it with you on trips - the video will show you how to correctly attach the base around the cot and put it into the bag. You'll also learn how to engage the brake and easily open an additional entry for your child using the zipper.

The structure causes problems for many buyers. The trick: The middle, inner part must not be pressed down when unfolding; it has to stay as high as possible while you pull up the sides and they snap into place; only then press the “column” down, which locks the bed in place. If you don't follow this order (which unfortunately can only be guessed at in the assembly instructions), you will only experience frustration...

It’s impossible for me to get the sides stiffened - is there anything more to it? I’m getting so frustrated by it. I’m doing it for the second time and it’s the same story. First time after 15’ fight I got it working somehow, now I have no such luck…

Hello! The side locking mechanism will not work if the bottom of the cot is flat. Therefore, when locking the sides, the central part of the base must be raised

Hello. To install or replace batteries, using a screwdriver, unscrew the cover of the battery compartment.

The heart shaped cut out is where the 3 AA batteries go. Stick a small/medium sized screwdriver through the hole underneath the light on the opposite side of the battery cover and loosen that screw. Thats the only screw that needs to be undone in order to open that heart shaped cover.

Der Aufbau macht vielen Käufern Probleme. Der Trick: Das mittlere, innere Teil darf beim Aufklappen nicht nach unten gedrückt werden; es muss möglichst weit oben bleiben, derweil man die Seiten hochzieht und diese dabei einrasten; erst dann die "Säule" nach unten drücken, wodurch das Bett arrettiert. Wenn man diese Reihenfolge (die in der Aufbauanleitung leider nur zu erahnen ist) nicht befolgt, erlebt man nur Frust ...
