Great choice! I'd like to buy a Kindle Scribe it's especially good for reading PDFs. But I chose a Kindle Paperwhite because of the price and use my old iPad when I read PDFs.

Interesting. I've only had the small kindles, but you outline the benefits of the Scribe very well. The two columns per screen thing looks like a real advantage to me.

I'm a voracious reader. I'm retired, so I get into bed at 10 and read until 5. I keep thinking about getting the scribe because I like toys. However, I have a signature edition which fits into my small purse. So even if I'm in an accident, I have something to read if I'm stuck. I also just bought a boox palma, which is smaller than my Pixel! But, e-ink.

Love seeing "Children of Time" on the cover! I found your channel as part of the buddy read! (Loved the "recluse" kindle screenshot!) My favorite medium to read is a physical hardcover edition. I like the feel of the book and the font is usually big enough and spread out enough for me to hit my stride. (Big library fan!) But I do have a Kindle paperwhite that I also love for reading at night, and I definitely appreciate its portability and that I can change font and brightness. I am trying to figure out how to best take notes on books I read so that I can remember it later (Swiss cheese memory), so maybe there is a Scribe in my future? ;o)
