To be fair, we now have to put signs on daffodils telling people not to eat them. 🙄 Unless people are specifically told where to stand, what to do and when to do it, they will make their own rules up because common sense is anathema to them.
Well done Abdullah these tourist seem to think they have the right to go anywhere they like what is needed is a huge no entry sign and or a recorded message in many languages telling them not to enter the arches. It is beyond me why they haven't done this already! Why weren't the police there to help a drop of rain and they vanish! Why she didn't yell move as she came out of the Arches I don't understand? I know that the higher ups have told them not to shout at the tourists poor little souls it might hurt their feeling but it seems to me that the people who are in command of this facility have no respect for the soldiers at all, why should they and the horses be subjected to this ridiculous rudeness, disrespect and downright stupidity? I’m always glad when you guys, like Buska, John, you, speak up and defend the guards, or explain to tourists when they are breaking a rule or doing something disrespectful. Buska sometimes ends up in confrontations, but I like how you just told them kindly as a public service. I don’t like watching videos where people just film and not say something. You are helping the guards, which is nice.

Now, the tourists, all over the world, don't have many restrictions in the countries they visit and leave their money, simply because these rude tourists contribute to the economy of the countries they visit and spend their money. Why do you think the tourists, specifically in these tourist spot of the horse guards are not prohibited to do many of the rude things they do? Money, in this case the mighty Pound, is the name of the game. Just watch the videos and if you don't like what you are watching, simply DON'T WATCH !!!
@annbeirene9583- Well Ann you've already said you're contacting the RSPCA over your perceived " abuse " of the horses , so why not contact Ministry of Defence as well and offer your advice on how to run things at Horse Guards ? I have traveled extensively and I have to say it’s always the same nationalities that are very ignorant, rude and arrogant. These videos of the kings guards are a perfect demonstration of this. Most other groups are patient and pleasant and are just enjoying the environment.
That is terrible that all of these people are putting their hands all over these horses it has to be frightening to them need a sign that simply says horses bite and (ick DO NOT APPROACH OR TOUCH!!!

Simply because "these "rude" tourists contribute with billions of pounds yearly to the coffers of the economy in the UK. So, you won't see many restrictions to the behavior of the tourists in the UK. Calm down, and if you don't like what you watch, DON'T WATCH!!!
She needs to do better than that. Should have demanded the first two to move. Also her commands were weak as she allowed them to stay there after they ignored her. There should have been an assertive move towards the people telling them to get out of the arches now, move!
These gunners have been told not to shout at the tourists by their bosses, these ladies/ gentlemen are the rank of private that doesn't give them any allowance to disobey higher ups orders. She shouldn't have to get people out of the arches there should be a giant no entry sign, but as we know most of these ignorant tourists don't pay attention to the police guards or notices. She was carrying out her commanders orders.!
Household cavalry were more firm in their statements... royal horse artillery guards don't seem to like the idea of making firmer commands from what we've seen
