Two cuties just having a hidden giggle for misstep. I know they're not suppose to do that, but hey...they're human. Happens to all if us. Quite endearing to me really.😊
Lmao the smack on the balls was priceless. Thanks for the upload and laughs. If ever you meet these hard working officers. Please thank them for their service ❤ 🇹🇹.
See they are human. It is so nice to see them smile. They go through a lot with tourists. I'm sure they are used to it and it is quite right that they get have a little mischief now and again. Good for them. It doesn't do any harm.
They find quite a bunch of things that tourists do to actually be genuinely funny, it just makes their job more difficult cause they wish they could laugh along
I have seen this post so many times and every time I watch it, it makes me laugh. The guards need to laugh occasionally, after all no one is perfect. Love these posts😢
They're all very well disciplined, well trained, and very patient to have to deal with all the tourists without cutting an occasional head off, but they are young men and we know that boys will be boys and that's that. While the archaic uniforms seem very old fashioned, let's be totally honest and make note of the fact that the guards wouldn't make for much of an attraction if they wore modern uniforms. At some point you have to appreciate the traditions they uphold, and the uniforms and all of their ceremonies.
мне их форма не кажется устаревшей, на мой субъективный взгляд, это красиво и сегодня. Вы очень точно сформулировали - "не отрубая время от времени голову" надоедливым бестактным туристам) А желание-то, наверняка, появляется время от времени)
What I find so funny was the way the officer gave a quick flick to the young guard standing to attention to let them back in right in the gooleys. I suppose when you are standing to attention a man is a bit vulnerable in a certain area. Nice to see the funny side
At 2:53 When the 2 Guard standing, it look like the the right one say "Oops". After this you see ,when the Officer come ,they bit thier Lipps, to prevent laugh.
Esses guardas reais precisam ter um excelente condicionamento físico. Não é nada facil cumprir suas jornadas de trabalho, com tantos protocolos, sentinelas e afins.
Ahhh nothing like robust armed forces humour lol. Poor old Ellis copped one, tho he was laughing too I think, and as for the two miscreants under the arches 😂 it was definitely an "ooops we really cocked that up.... D'ya think the boss noticed?"
I wish I could find an explanation of what exactly they are doing as they walk, here, stop here, say a few words, turn, walk a bit more, stand here and face this way, walk over here, etc. I'm honestly dying to know the historical reasons for the precedents they still follow to this day. One more thing; these soldiers look SHARP. The polish on those breastplates and boots, damn!
@@cnut2703It's polish, burnt with a flame and hours of rubbing in so they look like patent plastic.. The breast plates are brass and polished daily. The guards spend hours doing this. It is a matter of personal pride. How do l know this ? A family member.
@882952 - it's all part of changing of the guard - they stand on guard for one hour ( may be 2, can't remember ). Watch carefully and you will see the reason behind the changes etc ..... Two guards march together for reasons of safety etc as in if one faints, there will be a replacement - they are guarding the monarch. It's all very clever and logical. I think they are fantastic. 😊
Queen Victoria and George V are the reason. The soldiers used to get drunk and stay up playing cards all night. She found them all passed out one day and issued the punishment parade for 100 years, which naturally caused existing ceremony to be tightened up and done correctly. QEII changed the punishment parade from 100 years to forever, making it permanent as it had become tradition. George V is the second reason because he, realizing the great interest regular people took in the pomp and tradition, glamorized & receremonialized the monarchy and created more complex and bombastic military traditions. This video by the way is NOT the punishment parade.
I wonder if they are in training. A lot happened here that doesn't seem very "proper." Lol + I love the way the guys were talking and smiling, while the ladies looked so stressed to be there. A healthy reaction from everyone! The guys will learn to be a little more stressed and the ladies will learn to be a little more relaxed. 🤣
