I feel sad for Charles, imagine you need to put on a smile to greet everyone when you had just lost your beloved mother. My prayers for the Queen and for the new King.

Right after his mother's death he knew his people needed him to be strong. He stopped deliberately to give people the strength his mother would have given at that time. God save the king!

Im not even British but you gotta admit Queen Elizabeth was fantastic Monarch ..70 years in public eye and not one foot wrong and always put her duty before personal stuff.

I'm a Brit and I can honestly say, I have great faith in King Charles III being a good King. He's a good man with warmth in his heart.

I was touched by the woman who kissed his hand….sympathy for a man grieving and honour for the new King. People’s faces are saying so much. I’ve only ever known the Queen as my Head of State…and now a King…strangely odd. 🇳🇿🇳🇿🐑🐑NZ

There is something so regal and in-control about British people…No hysteria, no existential anger, disruptions to the transfer - just a dignified country showing solidarity with their new king.

When I think of Elizabeth II I'm left thinking of a quote by Elizabeth I. 'Though you may have many mightier and wiser princes sitting in this seat, yet you never had nor shall have any that will love you better.' I'm certain Elizabeth II herself fits these words perfectly.

Look at the way he pats people on the shoulder and greeted the Indian man who was there to show his grief by folding his hands and even allowing people to kiss him. He’s going to be a brilliant king. I was moved by him and I will be praying for him. He is very elegant and I loved his address to the nation and world. I’m glad the majority of the English people are supporting him.

Considering how resented he was a few decades ago, this is nice to see. I think he will be a decent king.

The way people are acting around him has dramatically changed.

I'm really speechless. Hard to believe that The Queen has passed. Long live the King, Charles the III.

People need to remember that Charles isn’t just a king…he is also a son who has just lost his mother and is grieving. Yes, he’s royalty, yes, he’s a public figure, and yes, the queen lived a long and full life…but losing a parent is still rough, no matter who you are, regardless of the circumstances.

Very class from Charles, he took time to greet his subjects and even accept some flowers.

He made a perfect speech. He also reassured the British public that his youngest son will not be part of the inner circle by mentioning he wished them luck in their lives abroad.

I hope the love and respect for the Queen Elizabeth will be shown to the new King-Charles III

The way people chase after these royals is the way we should chase after the father and the son. Queen Elizabeth openly talked about Jesus and how he was an anchor in her life and followed his teachings. I choose to honor her this way because if her death brings one soul to our lord and savior Jesus Christ, that honors Jesus and Queen Elizabeth.
