After Napoleon I (who for sake of argument we’ll treat as not a king but emperor even though he was a monarch) was first defeated in 1815, the Coalition installed Louis XVIII who was overthrown in 1815 by Napoleon’s Hundred Days, THEN restored again after Napoleon’s defeat. After which his son Charles X was overthrown AGAIN 😂 in 1830 and replaced by Louis Philippe “the Citizen King” in the July REVOLUTION of 1830 that ADDED A KING. After which HE was overthrown in 1848, then the Second Republic happened for four years, and THEN ANOTHER NAPOLEON (III- the reason why II was skipped over is a whole thing 😅) until 1870 finally put an end to ANY kind of French monarchy. Still, not counting emperors that’s *counts silently on fingers* three royal layoffs, five if you count emperors.

I believe you have it back to front. Most of the institutions you refer to are there to cement royal authority. Including but not limited to the house of Lords, Landed Estates like Longleat and even the Ranks and Rates structure of the armed forces. Changing these would erode their authority and legitimacy.
