Saw this cool use of AI generated art and was inspired to make my own considering this song doesn't have a music video. Link to download A.I Art... imgur.com/gallery/oDaJT7E
Hey everyone! Just wanted to clarify I used Midjourney to make these images! Below is a link if you wanted to try it out yourself! They give you a trial period so you can see how it works. Link: www.midjourney.com/home/ Also if you wanted to download any of these pictures here's where you can download them... Link: imgur.com/gallery/oDaJT7E Thanks for the support!
Yeah! It really makes me want to read a story based off the world that has been established by the Ai, just imagining the aesthetics of crimson red, black and purple clothed, homogenous people interacting and intertwining with each other and having antagonists/characters like the witch involved makes me really wish for that kind of story to be written.
How are they so coherent? Usually ai generated paintings are just a clusterfuck of colors and patterns that vaguely resemble the prompt, but these looks very good. In the first photo (when the lyrics start) alone you can clearly see gates guarding an area of an abandoned town. You can also clearly make out light poles and two moons as the sun sets. All of it looks so much like something a person would actually paint it’s incredible.
@@andrevasquez7892 art is a expression of the feelings of the artist, this AI is just imitating art but isnt really art because doesnt have emotion, personality ou anything really artistic Sorry if i said something wrong english isnt my first language
@@andrevasquez7892 Photo bashing software for people without skills and talent. With this effort everyone is a photographer who can use the fancy Instagram filter. But No. This is not art, because art requires skills, feelings and human. AI generated images are hardly art. If it's art that means you can be a mechanic without knowing how to build a vehicle, you can win running contest with a motorbike, you are a pilot only driving a drone, you can be a tourist without traveling and the list goes on. All of that requires a soul and a human. Ai is a toy and a gimmick image generator for people who think they can be artist with cutting corners.
The AI turns into Beksinski surprisingly fast. I think it's prefered style is to use weathered stone or wood as a texture and that reminds us of Beksinski's art since he used that style so often.
Great imaginary, but honestly I had a completely different head canon. For me images were in style of book illustrations of that era, with same warm unsaturated colors, the court I imagined to be almost entirely white, with the Crimson King being a single figure standing out. Then as the song progresses the endless hall fills up with various other characters
Tbh this is one of the reasons I’ve avoided watching The Wall. I love that album so much and I have an idea in my head how everything plays out but I feel like if I watch the movie it’ll all be erased.
@@darudesandstrom1067 Then how about if you write down your vision? Even if it stays private just for you, that's one way it could stay real, giving many more opportunities to revisit it beyond playing it by memory.
Your comment reminded me of the debate that has been going on on Twitter for the last few weeks about the art made by AI's. THIS, this is what makes (imo) the artist vs AI Artist debate meaningless. Even if AI can portrai some aspects of what we picture in our head, and give meaning to our words, the words are ours. WE are the ones imagining the scenarios and our imagination is endless, everyone can picture this song in different ways.
This gives an already great song an even more vivid and horrific atmosphere. I’ve always imagined the whole album a dark fantasy when listening to it, and the AI managed to capture that perfectly.
The reality of this art is more terrifying than the strongest view I had in the years while I have been listening this album. I think it never will be unseen in my brain if you know what I mean.....well done
This is what I loved about King Crimson is the mysterious effect these rather random but organized lyrics have when listening to them. It is so cool to see images matched up with such lyrics, the only way to describe any of it is something out of a dream, and therefore truly brilliant.
I wouldn’t worry about the computers but about the people who own them and the small few who are qualified to create them, do you really think they’ll share utopia with hordes of people who are essentially obsolete? The naivety is astounding. You are not going to be allowed to be friends with any computers. You will be deemed obsolete and sublimated one way or the other.
This is what AI Art should be Not a NFT shit for people to get money on and be over the actual artists and people who draw in general Should be a different experience that makes cool things you cannot fully understand in details, but as a whole, it looks as incredible as actual drawings
Can I just gush about how obsessed I am with this video? The imagery and music (and lyrics) pair so well. It's beautiful and horrifying in a very eldritch way. It makes me want to visit and explore this realm, but I would probably die quickly and/or be trapped if I tried.
Imagine a film with the complete lore for The Court of The Crimson King, with the same art and landscapes as the AI generated images, and of course, King Crimson as its soundtrack. It would be legendary.
I love generated Images like this because 100 people could instantly give you 100 separate stories about what they are/mean. They are so inspiring to the imagination.
It’s cool but it depresses me as an artist because I feel like we’ll just be replaced by this stuff. Eventually no one will be able to tell who actually made a beautiful piece of art, and no one will care about our talent.
@@sugaristhenewwhite It is. When people are able to just type in a sentence describing what they want, and an image generator spits out something that's "close enough," many, many people will no longer have need for an artist.
@@AirLancer my dude you know about conceptual art, it may be ablr to depict a scene or whatever but more abstract concepts that are exclusive to human consciousness can't be replicated because that in itself is humanity, if an A. I is able to replicate that, then they'd have to be human
I don't think artists will be replaced fully by AI. Unfortunately, yeah there will be less demand for artists if you think that even such a complex task as art can be automated these days. Think about it like like a piece of cloth, years back a simple shirt would be way more expensive than it is now, because it would require human work to be made. Now we have production lines that can make hundreds of these shirts in a few hours, yet there are still people who making their own clothes. Truth to be told though, a customer would most certainly choose the cheapest product.
@@mangaart3366 I think people are not actually considering the full consquences right now because it's "just" art for the moment. But if something seemingly as complex like "art" can be automated in a way where typing a few words in a software can give you stunning results that are close enough and it's only to get better over time, think about all the other professions out there that can and will be automated. They already have Ai in place that can give grades to school essays and they are on par with human teachers. Pharmaceutical companies spend billions on Ai software that can give prescriptions. Ai software that can be even used in legal cases to replace law assistants. And a lot more. Pretty much any blue collar job will be automated. Like I said. I didn't expect it to come first so hard for the creative business but it will have an impact on ALL jobs out there. And I am surprisd that not more people are actually worried right now. I guess everyone always think, well my job/position is sure safe! Mark my words. Ai will be like a nuclear bomb detonating in the job market.
Meus deuses isso é uma obra de arte, simplesmente belo e maravilhoso, a música já é incrível e a ideia de que eu tinha da corte era totalmente diferente, isso é mil vezes melhor do que imaginei. Belo, simplesmente belo.
This is one of the greatest things I have ever seen in my life. This ai generator is absolutely what it feels like to be in the future. If you are a writer, regardless of age, please use this generator and get the best concept art you can ever possibly imagine.
I dont know if this correct but I remember someone said that "AI generated arts" are the existing arts that human artist already made and AI just compiling these random arts into the context of description. Say that I asked for "Sun crashes the sea" AI will produce this descriptive art using various of paintings of sun, waves, sea or anything related that artists had already made, and created the picture where Sun crashes into the Sea. Im not 100% sure Im right tho
@@laserlights7735 Careful, there are people who can supposedly identify an artist's soul and emotions from pictures who would take offense to what you said.
BRILLIANT Now This is next level creative thinking, imagine if someone made all these arts by him self, biased on the lyrics I’d give him a creativity Medal
The eldrich land of red, ever weaving tentacles the king strides. The POV of the horizon changing is the world before the Crimson King's reign, and the 3 lullabies signify 3 prayers to appease the Court. The King: ruler of the Land of Red, banisher of the Fire Witch, assassin of the Black Queen's husband. The Black Queen: Previously the ruler of the Land of Red (back then known as the Rotted Lands), she cast off her Color when her husband: the old monarch (of an unknown Color), was assasinated in secrecy by the King of Red to usurp the throne for himself. The black symbolizes her grief, and in her final years within the grasp of the King of Red, all she can do is take up her shovel and bury what was left of her kingdom. It will all be buried underfoot, regardless. The Piper is a sinple outside force, a mixture of both the Red King's political beliefs and some of the concerns of the Mortals (blue). He doesn't rebel or anything, he's just the messenger. Regardless of who is in control, he will play his pipes with his choir accomplices. The Yellow Jester is potentially either a POW of the Red King or a sort of "gift" from the yellow kingdom, potentially a peace offering. The Gardener's tale is more tragic: for every "evergreen" or massive step in progress he takes (perhaps to escape), something small is lost, something important to him. And we all know how little things stack up and become big problems down the line. Perhaps it could be something that represents his humanity or beliefs, and every major step he makes, he loses part of himself. He is more than likely one of the Court's favorite forms of entertainment. The Fire Witch is rather simple: she is the collective desire of the mortals (and some of the Colors of Madness) to burn the whole thing down to ash, salt the earth, and start anew. This obviously endangers the Red King's rule: so he banished her to an unknown place. The City-Key Keeper is the Red King's right hand man, his most trusted advisor, and the Warden that watches over the imprisoned mortals underneath them. He is the one that holds the golden key, and his grip is heavy as lead. Just a bit of inspiration if anyone wants to read it...
I cant wait to hear the new gen use A.I art analogies in their insults, like " If i were to create a story of your life and base A.I art the most ,advanced art to represent your story it'd just show up blank, cuz you do nothing".
For all the discouraged artists, this is what a young computing device without distraction can do. It is limited. Your limits are imaginary. You are so infinitely more. P.S. Stay alive please
Artists of the future are gonna have to be real good at things only humans can do... because... these images are good and even seem to accidentally have mood and meaning and symbolism
It's a machine mixing together elements that humans have created and it's very clear it's just analysing the text it has been given. There is no vision there and no honest depiction of human experience, because of that it will never be real art, just like painters reprinting famous pieces aren't producing art. Now computers as we define them at this point of time will never have an original point or conscious and will thus never replace human artists
@@NasinasTV lmao in the near future you will look at an ai-made art and swear on it that it is made by a human before it's revealed that it is ai-made. Technology is moving at a very fast pace
@@bluecoffee3868 at already has. The creative jobs are simply sooner on the list to go. I do think it’s unethical though. Imagine how many copyright content it is using to “create art”? Y’all should calling your lawyers already, but no “uuuhhh just another tool”.
@@theapexfighter8741 I didn’t think about it but ai generated arts aren’t affect by copyright so that’s twice better for parole and different companies than I thought
Very evocative imagery, not the kind of visuals the song had inspired in my mind, but nonetheless quite compelling, even if some touches border on the overly literal (the silhouette of the fire witch, for example). It's a shame the song is truncated here; it would be interesting to see what the remaining lyrics would have conjured.
AI art is cool. It creates some killer images. I have a really hard time giving full credit to the folks behind the keyboard. Zdzislaw Beksinski was able to create hellscape images like. From imagination to canvas.
Its not so cool if you remember that the algorithm this AI uses pulls from real world artists without their consent. Simon Stalenhag, RJ Palmer and other industry artists are literally being used as prompts for this kind of art and not only is it plagiarism, its also putting them out of business.
A great shame for Zdzislaw Beksinski, since Ai art has decided his lifetime of struggle, experience and skill shall be rendered obsolete, just as he shall, and it shall all be assimilated into the machine. And more artists are to follow. It doesn't feel that cool to me ):
