Let me put it this way if u lose a gem before the ritual ends (like if it has 1 hr left) put in ur best gem then speed up the ritual time with your blue pearls to end the ritual.

I have basically a variation of a first method. So here it is. When your ritual time goes to 45 or so minutes left then change your base and put totem in front of a front door so that people could raid your base with 3 stars and the highest chance of them stealing the gem. When one of your gems is stolen you put your most expensive gem in the totem and continue the ritual. That's it! You never risk your best gem since the time of the ritual left is less then the time of a shield! You're welcome)

I'm using the same method, but I don't move the door to make it easier because it feels like a waste of jems. I will definitely try your way doe bro, seems pretty good to me. Nicely tought

The reason why i put door in front of a totem is to lose the gem as fast as possible With least amount of gold stolen. Also the time of ritual goes down so thieves should be able to steal the gem before the ritual ends otherwise it'll be wasted

no mention of 1. dont do trap upgrades while doing a ritual 2. if you combine 3 of the same color gem you also get potions when it finishes

you can upgrade a trap if you have very high level dense like 35+ i have 46. Then if you are sure that ur base can work with 2 traps

When I do the first method I save up the number of orbs that it takes to complete the ritual instantly.

You can only get attacked 4 times between logins (from my experience). Use it to your advantage and don't log in while upgrading! I put it on before bed.

there was no mention of a free potion when doing a ritual using same colored gems or avoiding rituals while upgrading a trap.

I found a way to make better gems while keeping them safe, but it requires a fair amount of work to make sure it works. It is usually used for a smaller level to. You simply get the best gems you can get(steal gems) Once you have done that start the ritual. When the ritual is underway hopefully no one will take your gem (Have a good defense) When the ritual is almost done, change your base to something easy. Once a gem is stolen, use a super gem or any good gem to replace the stolen one. Then you can use a small amount of gems to finish the ritual. It is very long and takes some time, but if you want to get better gems at a small cost of orbs, it works.

One other method I don't know if u said or not.. Its if you have a ritual going on and a gem get stolen when there's about 1hr left on the ritual time, place in your best Gem in the empty slot then speed up the ritual time. It stays the same time because of the previous ritual. It has helped me a ton. I got to rlly great gems now because of that method

thats stupid your big gem will not be upgraded much and if your putting slightly big gems in there they will be stolen decreasing you gem count by thousands

I bought all my gem slots so i have really not much use for orbs. What i do is i try to focus on upgrading 3 gems. I get it to a high value say i make 3 40000 gems. Then i ritual all 3 of them and finish the ritual with my orbs right away.

The method i use isn't very practical and can be situational but it works. I start by putting really cheap gems in my totem 500- 3000 and then i wait until the ritual is close to done or i have enough orbs to finish the ritual then i upgrade one of my traps or just hope someone steals a gem then i go in and put a 8000- 10000 gem where someone just stole the gem it does cause me to lose a cheap gem but i can always get more from mines, but this is how i do it its got me passed silver rank so its doing something :p

You can use 3 weak gems and when somebody will steal one of them you can replace it with a good gem and get a better result.(note: when you do the second step, the ritual must be over 50% done to improve the chance of finishing it with the new gem )

I think for the first way of concentrating on the same gem u can let someone steal your gem first then left very little time then put it in its after your gem get stolen the remaining time will be the same so its safer u can also speed it up :-)

The first method isn't even quicker, it's just riskier. You may advance through the tiers faster, but your total rating will rise at the same rate.

I always raid only over 3k gems and never totem gems below 3k. Always using orbs when making over 50k gems :P I think i focus too much for gems, i always find dungeons with big gems only, so.. Hate waiting the ritual always :D You can find my dungeon from "Dictators" position 11 or 12 on Top Guilds, plyer: RandomGuyFin

+jaja You have to level up to do bigger rituals. But the biggest gem you can put in your totem is 999999. After that you cant do more with it. Its called a semi-perfect gem. If you have 3 semi-perfect gems, you can put them together into a perfect gem of 2999997. Its the highest gem you can have (there are exception of players having perfect gems merged together by zeptolab in the older updates before the vault came).

For me, I just put in low gems in the totem and when I get attacked near 30 minutes until the ritual is done, I put in high gems.

Future me here, and I'm still a coward! But having a strong defence really helps. I generally like to merge 3K gems on a meh defence, and 10K gems on a great defence. The new events give you plenty of 10K+ gems! With the release of the Hall of Treasure, you can save higher rating gems if you want to conserve your orbs.
