I’m not even that much of a fan of DC but even I know Green Lantern rings don’t work like that at all. If he’s dead it’d fly off to whomever it sees as worthy and even if it chose king shark the ring would grow to fit his ring finger like every other ring can.

Wonder Woman was wrong. She thought she could talk the Justice League out of it, but she never realized that she needed to take down Braniac, first.

so the entire concept of the suicide squad taking down the justice league, although insane and ''shouldn't be possible'' is what makes it good. Kinda like the whole boys situation. However, they did all the heroes dirty, there's no clever way to take them down, no option to bring them back from brainiac to help you in certain situations.

One of the main reasons why… having a Lantern’s Ring is the most powerful thing you can ever obtain. You may not be on par with Superman’s power but you can sure stand your ground up against anyone. Imagine a person who has powerful imagination having a green lantern’s ring

Flash was able to get himself and wonder woman out of the ship but that ended up with the rest being corrupted, also flash was hiding on the watch tower, so that’s why nobody knew where he was

It's also funny that King Shark struggles to get the ring even though they change the size to fit the wearer. I mean Mogo is a literal Planet and he is a ring. So the Joke doesn't even make sense. Also like people have pointed out the ring should've flown back to Oa or found a new person. I mean they could've had the ring fly to one of the squads, instead of having King Shark rip it off John's finger. Hal only got the ring since he was the best candidate within like 50 miles of Abin Sur. The lantern ring cannot kill someone unless you have an extreme amount of willpower like Hal that one time when he became evil or Batman in that Dark Nights metal series. I highly doubt King Shark of all Characters has nearly that much willpower. Also, why did he instantly try and kill the squad? It's the Green Lantern ring, not the Red one.

All the lantern corps have an animal that represents their emotion. The green lantern corps happens to be a shark (named ion that kind of looks like the one in the game)

So we can just take Lantern rings without being selected. Just put it on and anyone can use it on top of messing up the oath, which is just a motivation boost, and power up from it.

Green lantern rings don't work like that at all. Even assuming that King Shark had managed to capture the ring the moment it went searching the universe for a new bearer, the moment he slipped it on his finger nothing could happen because the ring had not chosen him as the new Green Lantern. And anyway, the fact that the shark construct turns around and goes to work to eat them doesn't really make sense either. Green Lantern constructs are nothing more than physical aggregates of the bearer's will, they have no consciousness of their own they take and do as they please.

AM I THE ONLY THAT NOTICED THAT BRAINIAC teleports green lantern's body to some where behind the squads back when wonder woman gets pick by superman. Imma be honest i don't think the league is really dead

To everyone saying that's not how the ring works, there's always an alternate timeline or a different universe that may be over the ring works differently... Maybe this game took some ideas from the MCU and how it works
