I’ve been playing this game all day and I️ can’t stop its just so amazing to me. It’s obviously personal taste but this is what I’ve been dreaming of

The game is amazing. Bugs aren't worse than Bethesda's level of bugs.

Im 50 hours in and I have only completed 5 percent of the story

I actually like that it's based on a set character. For me personally, I get more invested in learning the story of a set person. I dont role play well with a limitless, amorphous, make it up on the fly character. Here I'm learning the story of henry, I put myself in Henry's shoes based on what I know of him. This is a really good game.

I pirated the game, realized it was awesome, bought a legit copy, uninstalled my pirated version and then proceeded to play it for the rest of the day without a single break... It’s safe to say that this game is great!

I've personally experienced much fewer bugs than I see in a typical Bethesda release.

This is the type of game that some people will love but the rest will hate it

what can I say, this is the first game I bought in my life and I don't regret it.

"The animation and lip-syncing sucks! This game looks terrible!" I've heard this argument alot, and you guys need to realize this is an indie game. It had to be kickstarted and it's this studio's first game. Look at it as an indie title and it shines as quite an impressive feat. Look at it as a AAA title, which it isnt, and it starts to look kinda bad. It's an indie game, and an incredible one at that Also, this isnt a hack and slash game. The combat isnt fun to watch, but when you play it for yourself, it's really really fun. Very challenging, very tactical, very rewarding.

I guess we can "Czech" this one off the to-do list! I'm sorry I'll leave...

The ui in this game and inventory screen reminds me of oblivion.

I reckon the reviewers have it all wrong, I've encountered very few problems. Probably the best game I've played in a long time

i am in love with this game... this game is as good as skyrim, witcher 3 & divinity original sin 2 for me... Can't wait for thier next game.

Lets make one thing clear, and very clear: This game is not meant for everyone. In fact it is not meant for 90% of you reading this comment. This is a slow paced realistic medieval RPG that does not hold your hand in any way. This is not like Skyrim, this is not like the AAA games you have been playing for the last decade. It is designed for people who want to truly immerse themselves in a realistic world, which comes with a lot of the negatives and boringness of the real world.

I'm not gonna lie, there are bugs, but 1. They generally disappear with a little few seconds of patience and 2. Within a short time most of the bad ones will be squashed by the development team. So I really don't understand why people make such a big deal over something so small and insignificant towards the goodness of a game.

I recently picked up this game... is it perfect? no. Does it have some rough spots/ issues? yes. Is it super fun? Yup!

The lockpicking with controller really needs to be looked into, i find it impossible.

If there was a way to buy this game while giving you some sort of referral, I'd totally do it. I believe with the infusion of funds that this game is getting with it's release, they'll hopefully release some patches or even hotfixes to fix some of the "jank". I certainly hope they do. I really like it ! After the let down of a game that was For honour I was looking for something to scratch that medieval itch !! And this does the trick for me . I hope others give it a chance !

yeeeah... I remember all that blacksmithing and smelting I did at the alchemy bench...

So far I've absolutely loved this game. The first time I played it I spent about 4 hours on it and only got through the intro scene due to all the exploring I was doing. The realism is great, which I love in a game. Which isn't for everybody. But the only thing I don't like is the saving system. Only way you can manually save is by drinking savior snaps (I think that's what it's called) or sleeping and if something comes up you can't just save quick and get off.

They need to release a patch to fix the texture flickering

The quest tracker is actually still pretty much a hand-holder, although it may not illuminate every possible option, if you just talk to all the people surrounding a quest you can add that stuff to your log. Little easier and more restrictive than I thought it'd be. Also as far as I know you can't become a blacksmith per se you can just buy repair kits or use the grind stone but you don't actually craft anything, aside from potions (alchemy system is cool though). Maybe I'm not far enough though. Biggest frustration is the target switching doesn't seem to work the way it's sold although you can just unlock target and then face the person you want.

The thing I would want is to be able to change the controls such as rather than double tapping circle to have your horse sprint, I prefer it to be L3 so that I would be able to look around more freely. Anyhow I'm not worried as things will improve in the future but as of now I absolutely love this game!! Thank you for creating such beautiful stunning art.

ehhh... devs must fix random crashing, arrows going through the enemy and the thing when you headshot with a bow, even tho he doesnt have any headgear he is all fine and you need like 3 more arrows to kill him

Game got bugs, sure, for something of this magnitude then of course it has bugs, but guess what? Not nearly as many bugs as youy would find in any Bethesda game

question: theres a mercy killing button, why should I not mercy kill? is there a chance they survive?

The game is absolutely amazing, best game i have played in years. I have had very little bugs however, only the occasional pop in so i hope that when they fix all of the major bugs more people will be able to enjoy this gem as i have been doing for the past 2 days.

Its a good game but it has alot of problems 1.. my screen has a yellow tint thx to it. 2. stealth sucks because AI are psychic and know your every move. 3. Stealth kills alarm everyone within 100ft or more. 4. saving is only possible with expensive potions sleeping and at the beginning of a quest. 5. every conversation take sometimes up to 5-10 seconds to load 6. some of the quests are bugged.

Ive played this game for 11 so far on pc and ive had no framerate issues and 1 bug which was a levitating merchant in the forest. The story so far is great and the gameplay is fun and challenging especially once you start levelling up your combat skills. By far the best open world rpg ive played.

Good video. You showed it, but you should have mentioned the unique "fast travel" system.

I was traveling in the countryside and found a point labeled “Accident”. Being on a horse I went back to take a look at what it was. There was a woman wearing a witch’s hat and on a broom dead on the ground in a pile of blood. I looted her corpse and found potions including one named the “witch’s potion”. Just though this was quite interesting the developers put this little bit in the game :)

For once we don’t get children’s game that isn’t Overwatch or Battle royal. This game is the reason I dusted off my Xbox One 👍🏼

you also need to know that the lockpick system is fucked and you have to tap in to all sections of your brain to break an ‘easy’ lock. Your fingers have to work overtime just to even consider actually picking one of the locks.

Other then the save system, I love this game! I appreciate the unique save mechanics but with the several glitches I have found that instantly killed me, something needs to be done

I can deal with the bugs, I can deal with slow paced quests. What I’m currently struggling to deal with is the combat. No matter how much I train it doesn’t seem to help, I can best Bernard but go out and get floored by a bandit with no shoes and a wood axe. I’d like there to be a difficulty adjust, purely so I can make my way through the story.

I just did the executioners ring quest. Took a few tries to get the money though. Great game so far. PC.

Wasn't sure about this game when I got it.. but I can honestly say that it is PURE gold & well worth the money. An absolute MUST-HAVE if you're into open world RPG's.

I really struggled the first time I played it, really tried to be the great hero who's tough and honourable. Only to be weak, shit and terrified of getting into a battle because I'd always get my arse handed to me . It felt like a chore to do everything. Got to the first ambush bit and it must have taken me a million tries as I didn't have any heavy armour for it and my fighting skill was trash, I stopped playing. Nearly five years later I'm playing it again and I'm totally in love with the game, started a new game and just took everything in, I learned to play it how it was supposed to be played which is anyway you want! To succeed early I was dishonourable taking any shortcut I could, I would sneak into camps at night and just end them in their sleep. I steal everything!! So I had amazing loot to prepare for fights, I learned how to use the alchemy bench so I can make as many saviour schnapps as I please. I'm now quite levelled and pretty much a master with the longsword, I enjoy engaging in battle now. My tip for new players is get a mace, it literally mangles enemies and gives you a better chance against much more skilled fighters or if your outnumbered.

Playing the game now and the video is pretty spot on. It is clearly a middle-sized project with limited budget (definitely not AAA, maybe A+). There's some animation jank but the environments are drop dead gorgeous. Best forests ever made. And the night is actually dark lol. I've never played a game like this, it has elements from Skyrim (open-world sandbox, Radiant AI), Witcher 3 (cinematic, great story and characters) and many deep immersive systems of stealing and survival. If that appeals to you, I'd personally wait a month or two for the devs to iron out various technical issues (nothing game breaking or dramatic but sometimes annoying). But definitely grab it as soon as possible. It's a really unique, hard-to-describe experience and likely a cult classic going forward.

It's nothing short of perfect. Some people don't like it and see it as a grind, but that's realism for you, in real life, you can't pick up a sword and be a sword master just like that, or pick up a bow and hit your targets easy. This is what I love about this game, you HAVE to learn, if you don't then you won't get far.

Im really enjoying this game but it's not for everyone and it does some minor texture pop in. I love everything about the game from the motion captured combat to reading books and i recommend reading everything in the codex it because there's so much info about medieval life in there. So if you want a realistic medieval experience then this game is for you

Take it from me, this game is amazing. The combat is really difficult and you have to practice a lot if you want to be beating bandits and the like. The story telling is somewhat, "eh"... but the gameplay itself is just wonderful. Also, I managed to activate my 1080 SLI for this game. Just add Kingdom Come Deliverance on your Crysis 3 profile in Nvidia Inspector and it should work wonders.

Got it for PS4. Had some crashes, bugs, glitches. However, I fucking love this game. Might become my fav game of all time, I'm 29. This game is everything I've ever wanted

I’m in love with this game. My only real problem has been the save game issue, but aside from that, it’s great! Just a rather sharp learning curve

I think this game if awesome, the way I'm going through this game is like a noble knight saving all the town's folk from bandits. I feel i don't run into that many glitches... but I think thats because I'm on console. You really get immersed in the game because how real it is, for example I was rideing my horse and these bandits attacked me, when they seen my bloody sword and my shiny armor they surrendered because they were so scared.

I'm excited for this game but the only thing I needed to know is, that it takes everything from my current system even on lower graphics.

Where should i store my things?

There are a few glitches, none of them game breaking for me so far. Every once in a while certain glitches force me to reload or a game crashes when playing for too long, so it's important to save often with sleep and saviour schnapps. If you want to RP hard, sleep only in lodgings (the mill, talmberg) and in taverns to save progress, like a real wayfarer. I'm 53 hours in, bogged in quests, and there seems to be no end in sight.

Just got it for free from epic games when they had it for free, and now a small part of me feels bad that i didn't paid for the game. The only issues i had so far, on a pretty high end desktop, were a lighting issue/bug, and a deer spawning right in front of me while on a hunting quest. But the realism of the game that i'm barely scratching the surface of had me hooked up on it. I imagined it like, playing Counter Strike for a good time, then suddenly you're playing ARMA 3. One word of advice for anyone reading this, the game's world, DOES NOT, wait for you. Granted, not in all cases, but in some important ones, you either need to be quick about your things or lose it. It really took me from the usual RPG mindset. Questing, looting, selling and repeating, when at a moment i failed a part of a quest (and not the WHOLE QUEST) because i was taking my sweet time selling loot.

I tried it first on a console and I liked the immersion and detail, but I hated how the console was ported. Combat and lockpicking were really hard and the UI was clunky on a controller. I didn’t play too much of it because of it but now I got it on PC and it’s one of the best games I’ve played. I don’t usually get too into a single game, I usually dont finish the story. But this is really one of the only games I’ve played that I want to go back and play.

3:35 I didn't even think abou that... I just went straight though the quest and my captain wasn't happy of me solving stuff all alone. I could have just warned them and spare me a lot of deaths. ffs this game is dynamic.

Some fact checks. Blacksmithing was removed as a concept and gameplay element very early in the development phase. Smelting is not a related discipline either. Neither exist in KCD.

Xbox one or Steam? Which one should I get?

Got about 20 hours into the game now. The game is great, one of my new favorites. However... the combat is difficult, and leveling skills will make it better. So right away you feel your character is weak because he is. progression is slow, and be ready to spend time just leveling abilities. Pick all the flowers, herb and mushrooms around a village get leg day=strength. Spend time training with practice swords=strength and sword ability. Hunt for a while to better archery. There is a lock picking chest at the first miller level your ability there. These safe ways of leveling will make the later game more fun.

There is handholding. Its pretty much shows you where you have to go, just needed to be said.

Great game. Yes there are some bugs but overall its a truly immersive medieval experience. I only wish they would add more roaming and threatening animals to the forests. Random npcs could use more dialogue. This game has immense potential. Dlc for France vs England 100 years war? Or maybe go east to the Ottomans. One can dream!

I am 32 hours into this game and stopped the story line to do a hunch of side quests because I live the feel for how side quests improve what you can do in the main story
