I really wish this series had given us more time with Luxord. He is my favourite of the KH2 orginsation members who go largely unexplored, and in Days he's like the only one who actually respects Roxas
Always liked him in KH2, his fighting style at least as he was barely explored in that game. In KH3 though, I really wanted more of him, he has hidden depths and honour which I really like. Very odd that he was not considered of much import in Organization 13 considering his powers revolved around Time....although it seems that they more focus on the card aspects of his powers.
@@Ephideltrance Yeah he was the Time Mage of the group but then the series started involving time travel and I guess they realised that they needed to justify why that wasn't a thing before when they had a Time Mage so they quietly ignored that aspect of him ever since and gave Time Magicks to Xehanort and Mickey instead.
@@fisherdotogg A shame really, although not much of a bother since his time powers were never done good. It was more conceptualized as timed games. His power should have just been game related...like a low key reality warper which suits him.
You know. A big part of me wanted Marluxia to go at one point: ‘You are doomed!’ and he summons out his Angel of Death. It’d be more fitting as Lord of The Castle(his big theme) is playing throughout this fight and he could’ve gone into his true Nobody form in this fight.
I don't think it would make much sense plotwise. Marluxia doesn't really have any drive to go all out in this fight. Though we can always expect this in a DLC
@@kazooie7 haha, yeah. It's crazy to think just a few months after this comment Nomura announces that Luxord is going to have a key significance to the next DLC update. It'd be awesome if he somehow played a positive role towards the protagonist, but it's safe to say he already has with the card he's given to Sora.
It was interesting to fight several of the Organization members together, but they were all clearly nerfed. The ending was hasty, they could have created an amazing final world where it will be something like reach the top of the pyramid (to Xehanort) while taking on all the members one on one. Also, Sora shouldn't have been the one to defeat all of them either. You fight most as Sora, but key battles like evil Riku, good Riku faces. Mickey vs young Xehanort. Aqua vs Dark Terra, Ven vs dark Ventus, and Roxas vs Xion. Axel and Kairi can give backup as they are still inexperienced as keyblade wielders. Although, Axel should have a key moment against Saix. That way Sora faces off against the remainder which is more than enough.
I feel Luxord had the best character development in this game. Definitely my favorite Organization member that came back. I really hope they have plans to bring him back for KH IV as his real self
I would have liked it if Marly and Larxene were more aggressive. Half the time, Mar stands around while you combo Larxene, and he himself can be combo'd for what I feel is too long. They need to increase their aggression and make them retaliate sooner.
I remember when it took all I had to beat just one of these guys, now i'm fighting 3 without hardly breaking a sweat. Kinda a letdown with how easy this was even on proud mode
This fight was easy to you? For me it was too difficult, but I surely did take my time and died twice because Marluxia and Larxene hit hard. Maybe its because I was like 39 when I was on this part
@@Shaye.J none of the fights gave me the same exhilaration as they did in kh2 even in my lower levels. I miss the triangle reacts from kh2, it made it better than these over dramatic keyblade transformations
@@Satoshi483 Yeahh. This game did lack with the triangle commands with the exception of the union X Keyblades. That was good. But in all honesty, I dont blame this game for having an easy proud mode. When I did proud mode on kh2, I found it easy cuz I had beaten roxas, Xaldin, Xigbar, and Saix on my first try, yet playing critical had me stuck for a while. Maybe thats just how KH games are.
@@Shaye.J my hardest struggles were xaldin, demyx, and luxord. For xaldin it was his fast attacks and giant field covering wond blast, for demyx it was the timing on the water clones that kept getting me, and luxord because of his annoying card game that I always lost. More skill was needed then with timing your dodges since it was like a one-hit 1hp hit they always used
Luxord,Larxene and Marluxia's death is just like death of KH Samanosuke Akechi or Kazuhira Miller,Jennifer Willis and Reaper(Reyes) or Basch. Luxord's death is honourable Larxene's death is diginity Marluxia's death is graceful honour
You know that a character is sorely underused when we at least know the real names and selves of the two other characters he was fighting alongside with.
Here’s the thing about the kingdom hearts story . No one here is really a bad guy in a way it’s all curiosity breaking the cosmic walls of space and time to unravel a bigger situation where not only the the 13 of darkness and 7 of light would join forces but gain each other’s trust and form a power greater than ones heart
so why are we friends with everyone we kill now? i remember the good old days when you killed the villain and they went "NOOOOOOO!!" as they faded into oblivion. Now it's "good job sora, i respect you for killing me"
QuasarPsychosis its not a matter of good and evil being black and white, all im asking for is strong villains with actual conviction - not wishy washy dudes who, once theyre defeated, change their minds about their actions and go "ah shoot, i dont know why i tried so hard to kill you sora, youre such a good friend"; larxene even says "eh, i didnt want xehanort to win anyway, i was just along for the ride", that is extremely poor motivation for becoming a xehanort and whatever else
It's not that their wishy washy about things, when you get to fight an enemy over and over, you get to understand it, you get to see their reasons, also, those 3 didn't remember their pasts selves, so basically they remembered it in the last moments, that's why they thank Sora and such. All of those members, except the versions of Xehanort that were actually him and not another version had a burden, linked to a destiny, I think it's good for them to have regrets, after all, it wasn't their goal
Think about it, they didn’t want to be involved. Vanitas and Young xehanort yes maybe because they’re designed to be evil. The others, not really. They’re not good nor evil. Larxene joined because she did it for marluxia. Marluxia wanted to remember. Luxord made it too easy for Sora, it’s clear it wanted it to end.
4 against 1. The Organization seems nothing more than a gang of bullies. If you ask me, when having to chose either to help King Mickey or Riku in the first turn of the Laberinth, Mickey should be the clear choice. Not because I love Mickey, but because he's in the worst situation. 4 against 2 have more chances. Besides, Sora can have faith than Riku will manage to resist long enough against his "demons" (Ansem and his Dark Self) and Xigbar. In this battle, the objetives are clear. First Luxord, so you rescue King Mickey and the battle turns 2 vs 2. Second Larxene, as she is the weakest of the two. (And no, I'm not saying this because she's a girl). And finally Marluxia, which reflects his previous role as the Final Boss in CoM.
@@fightingmedialounge519 Not that I don't have faith, but like I said, I think it's more logical to help first the friend who is in the greatest disadvantage.
