Combat was already fun for me aside from the few times you couldn't control sora during combos with wasn't like kh2 or hell kh1 or 358, but what I really liked about kh3 combat was the fact you could shot lock while doing combos which is something stickmansham videos taught me. Which I don't think a lot of people know about
Imagine a fight between Roxas and Larxene, with them zipping all around the place. Makes me wish we could play as other characters for the data battles..
Hopefully KH3 comes to PC, so the community can do what Nomura and his team refuse to do. I totally understand that the other characters aren't nearly as fleshed out as Sora, but I wish we could just play as them whenever we want. As well as maybe making some of the story bosses accessible for super boss rematches. Seems like a waste of assets to only be able to fight them one time.
Blackmage456 the question I’m having is why make a casual pose riku animations before you go into the data world. Seems like a waste of time if you only use it for a tiny room if he’s not even playable for the data battle. If nomura and his team actually puts these playable characters in data battles that’ll shock the community tremendously
They should have done it in the beginning, all that time and money that costs to gain access to it is not worth spending. No mock up world like FF7 world in Midgar because Sora is traveling through different worlds after disappearing or whatever. This is endgame content that should have been added free concidering how bland it was when it was released for $60.
@@wakewind4129 agreed. People like to make the argument about having to buy 2FM as if it's no different to buy re:mind. They don't however, realize the difference in that by the time kh3 came out a precedent had been set for endgame content because of 1FM, 2FM and even F15R (even though it's not the same team who worked on it). So after all of these remixes and collections it should be expected that there are endgame superbosses and content.
@@trust3474 to be fair they lost a year of development time and is 1fm really that of a great example when it only added one extra boss and few keyblades
@@Jetstreamsamdidnothingwrong I wasn't trying to use 1FM specifically but rather the precedent set by these types of games that endgame content is now expected. But to use 1FM as an example adding leaf bracer and how after that it became a staple of the games and is expected to be there. I then could compare this to the extra endgame content added to kh2FM (English at least) and FF15R setting expectations for future games to have a lot meaningful endgame content.
@@yurikuki to the point where all other forms aside from light and dark form feels weird since they have slow animation. I mean, try using second form. Its combos are fast, then the finisher comes in and it is so slow
the irony is that her speed is a weakness too because she's fast, her attacks don't last that long too and you can easily dodge roll through them 2:06 Larxen: Oh? You're fighting all three of me? Instead of attacking to increase your chance of survival, you're fighting all three of me? Sora: I can't flex if I don't take on all three of you and not get damaged!
The attack at 0:23 can be countered by attacking at the same time she jumps in the air. She will be knocked back and you can use that as an opportunity to follow up. Great work by the way, youre a very skilled player
Ah yes. The start of many indeed. The way he plays with keyblade switching is jolly good too! Would be awesome to watch various other keyblades in action as well.
OK look I need to study larxene's attacks... Study a boss' attacks in kh3 and not mash the attack button until I win, this is some good stuff I've been stuck in larxene for 3 hours and needed to see this video to see how to deal with her desperation move, this dlc makes me remember the days of kh2fm, where I needed to see other players fight the bosses to have a slight idea of how to do it myself Then again people are saying that larxene is one of the easiest opponents in limit cut so the rest of the fights will be fun
Pralenka Man At first Larxene’s data battle will be hard.. but once you get the hang of it you’ll not have a problem beating her.. took me 2 hours to beat her the first time.. then I immediatly beat her again the first time I replayed the fight
@@dillon8801 yeah I just beat her and it's basicly a dance, her patterns are pretty easy to get but hard to master, though it's probably the funniest fight I've had in all of kh3, until now, because of how predictable yet hard it is It's the second data battle I've beaten and it's probably one of the easiest but I'm having fun
it's so hard watching other gameplay videos of the new Data Org fights after watching these because all the people who pushed out videos on day 1 can't play the game at all
Exactly. They just abuse the Ultimate Keyblade and tank through the bosses. I don't have the Ultimate Keyblade and even on Proud Mode, the bosses are insanely hard, but once you know their patterns and openings, defeating these bosses are insanely rewarding. I appreciate videos like this that teach us when to attack these bosses.
@@TrinJeto yea cuz they owe the game, you have to strike when the moment is right without thinking... but after a while... you look for points of STYYLE accidentaly sang Dogs from Pink Floyd
This fight felt very doable, until I got to the DM's; it just felt so hard to figure if she had an attack pattern in the heat of battle, so I was tempted to check out videos like this on YT. I did manage to beat though, but not without panicking and kinda brute forcing it =| I also didn't want to rely on Ultima Weapon, or Oathkeeper/Oblivion.
@@richardwhite3499 what's confusing about what he said? He beat Larxene first and is having trouble beating Xemnas and Terranort (Terra's body but Xehanort's mind)
Terranort is pretty hard, but I finally beat him after dying at least two dozen times. One of the true openings I see with him is that you must block the purple missile shits he throws at you. Even if you get him by one of them, just keep blocking if he throws more of them. There is one segment where he starts firing rapidly in a straight line and then you hear him take damage when you block these missiles. As soon as you hear that, airstep toward him and just attack him like crazy. That's a guaranteed one bar of health gone. As for Xemnas, good luck brave soldier. I haven't figured him out yet. I'm facing all of this on Proud Mode and I'm still having a hard time.
I can't find the difference between the startups for her flurry of attacks at 0:32 and 1:18. They seem to start exactly the same, but I can't tell how to know which set of attacks she's doing.
Larxene was the only data boss I beat on the first try. She may not always be flinching, but during all her attacks she is vulnerable, and just by mashing the attack button with the ultima blade equip, I beat her in under 2 minutes. Didn't block a thing. I was surprised, considering other data bosses took days to beat.
I don't know how you do so awesome at this game but it's seriously amazing how you do it I'm like really wondering how you turned out to be such a pro at that game to me anyone who plays that game will never be better than you
yass, I could not avoid some damage so I equipped 3 thundaza equipments to my armor, and her damage decayed to almost a hundred percent for thunder attacks
