Gameplay of an easy cheese you can do on yozora to make the fight much easier. Note: you can also use ethers to get mp faster and make sure you have all link abilities active
If I could switch the difficulty part way through the game then I would play this fight on proud, cause I prefer my HP gauge to actually have some use instead of it getting reduced to 1 instantly
It actually does though. I thought the same thing at first. But if you lose it should give an option like saving your progress and after that it will let you choose to retry. Watching the cutscenes was infuriating me as it wasted so much time having to go all the way back into the fight every time from the title screen.
While luck is involved due to the randomness of his attack pattern, you also gotta learn his actual attacks. This really helps even with Ariel. For example, if I see he’s trying to do the keyblade steal move, I’ll wait for him to approach and I’ll summon Ariel right as soon as he’s about to summon the circle thing to capture you, then skip intro, I’m almost always able to at least get a bar of health off him with Ariel if I see this move. Kinda works when he tries to get you with the triangle barrier as well. But you’ll probably always get the most damage to him when he’s attacking you with his sword.
I just beat all 13 data fights and never knew that's what splash meant on ariels link Lolll 78 plus hours on this game and still finding out new things
Just a random tip, on Yozora "cooldowns" basically when he's not on screen. I use the time to use hi-ethers. That helped a lot with the fight when I didn't have access to Ultimate Form. I did the boss last night. Thanks for the video, mate!
step 1: become master at blocking step 2: pray that your keyblade will not get stolen cause of some rng attacks (because if he decides to steal your keyblade you're kinda screwed) step 3: also pray for the link damage to connect i don't really call that a cheese sir/madame but i'm defenetly not having a good time
Well it does. Your not doing it right or doing it in the wrong times during the fight. There is heaps of videos up now using this same strategy on critical and taking about 2 hp bars each time
@@riotgeargaming5602 Well I'm gunna have to disagree with you. I am on Critical, I used Ariel at the correct times as you say and it still did hardly any damage. If you had a video doing this on critical, I'd be more inclined to believe you.
AxelXGabriel word bruh, link commands are ass against yozora critical is just about mastering timing, which when it comes to yazora is crazy complicated, u gotta time all your attacks, link commands might actually fuck u up in the long run
Thank you, this method helped me beat him in no time. Only difference is I equipped a bunch of mega ethers and exlixers to deal with the cool down. I also ate a meal to boost my stats. I beat him on Proud👍👍👍
proud mode here too and had no such thing as bitch meals to help me during the fight and no lame shit ariel invincibility bullshit either!! only elixirs wich i had to use after half his health was gone.
@@Jeptheplay first time I used a meal in kh3. I haven't played the game in a minute. I honestly didn't feel like learning the attack patterns. I beat all the organization members on my own, yeah felt more rewarding and was very challenging. Kudos to putting in the work though 👍.
I’m playing on proud and I’m struggling to deal damage from the Airel’s attack, and it also doesn’t last as long as it does in this video. What equipment did you have for this? And how did you make the link last so long? Same as you i beat the data battles without cheesing but Yozora is just ridiculous.
I don't know if you already know but to deal with the tractor beam that steals your items and health, you glide to the farther side to get the most distance from yozora
My Xbox keeps shutting down during this fight and im trying your method and I got him to half health and he freaking killed me this fight is so freaking hard and I can barely do any damage with Ariel
lvl 99 standard diff. Been using this tactic for about a year now on off. No dice. Can't do it. Also the link seems to do a lot less damage on mine than yours
I’m playing on proud and I’m struggling to deal damage from the Airel’s attack, and it also doesn’t last as long as it does in this video. What equipment would you use? And how would you make the link last so long?
Thanks! Does it matter if I’m using specific weapons etc? Like ultimate keyblade? Or is there better equipment to use for damage like high magic weapons? Or does it not really matter?
@@UnstopableTron there is nothing you can do to cheese it on higher difficulties, just take your time to learn all the moveset on the 1st and 2nd phase.
I have certain rounds when I'm real patient and I can make it past the dm. So there's like no way for me to beat him if I can't practice 2 phase. Like earlier I got him down to almost 4 bars left. Because I did Ariel and nothing happened to his 4 health bars.
I mean, it clearly works considering the fact that in 2 minutes you've been hit by more attacks than I see possible whereas I can avoid a majority in the first half at least
I don’t normally do this, but I had to thank you for this video. I have been attempting Yozora for over 40 hours as of this writing and I wasn’t even making it to his DM (unless of course he opened with it). I gave your suggestion a try and beat him on my first attempt. As a more causal gamer who doesn’t have time to memorize every single one of Yozoras “tells” but wanted to get the achievement for beating him, I cannot thank you enough.
I've been trying using this method for a bit now and it doesn't work. He only takes a deal of damage if it actually hit with most of the attacks which seems to be rare. Otherwise it does maybe an inch of the health bar at best.
iam sorry but if this would have been on critical you would have already died so many times in this vid xD this works good on easy and normal and maybe proud but not on critical with the damage he deals
How much strength and defense did you have? What mode did you beat him on. I farmed over 20 strength boosts and defense boosts on proud mode and have a really hard time.
@@riotgeargaming5602 it would be easier if the guy stayed in place T.T he's always away instead of nearby like in your vid. Should I wait more often to time it right?
You won't believe how happy I am after trying this out. I was legit down for a solid two weeks because of him and his cockiness, and the answer was right in front of me on youtube(it just got recced to me). Thanks a bunch man! This made my night fr
Thanks for the video! This definitely did it for me. Especially once I figured out that you keep your ultimate form after fighting with Ariel. This was a huge deal because you regenerate MP faster in this form AND can deal a great deal of extra damage after the initial damage you deal with Ariel. Liked your video as requested!
My slowass reaction ass finally beat Yozora on critical mode. So, for those saying, that ariel link spam doesn't work on critical, it does work, just not as well. My build had 8 elixers, oblivion and oathkeeper since my casual gamer ass can't get ultima blade. To get max damage with ariel, u need to do it when he does the triple fakeout slash attack. Because when he does that attack, he stays in the same general place on the map, and just eats ariel's water sperm attacks to his face. You can't just spam ariel and do enough damage to beat him in the second phase. For the second phase, just dodgeroll spam his blue charged sword attack, it's way too hard to punish, especially if you have slow reactions like me. Also, just dodge roll his tunnel kick, blue laser attacks. Again, too hard to punish. Only punish his 6 sword slash to sword teleport attack, and his triangle attacks. They stay the same from phase 1, and he will do them enough for you to get some bars of health down, since every punish is guaranteed to take at least one health bar down. Also, you must, must punish him the two times in his DM. every bar of life down counts. Then again, whenever he does his triple fakeout slash attack, that's when u go for ariel for max damage. On crit mode, if u do it on his triple fakeout slash, so he stays relatively in the same spot, it should do about 1/2 to 3/4 of one lifebar damage.
