Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind - Riku vs. Xigbar & Dark Riku No Damage (Critical Mode) 

Riku is undeniably Canadian. He says "Sorry" when beating up the people who ruined his entire life, or when he's beating up people who deserve the beating in general.

Now that I think about it, Riku and some of his alternate versions might be the single most recurring boss in the whole franchise. 1) Dark Riku in KH1 2) The Riku Replica in Chain of Memories 3) Corrupted Data Riku in reCoded 4) Blind Riku in Days 5) Dark Riku in vanilla KH3 6) Data Dark Riku in Remind And you fight these guys multiple times in most of the games they're from. Damn. So many Riku fights across the whole series

C'mon Square, Riku fully playable on this engine for a whole game. Playing DDD again recently and now this makes me want to level up and play around with dark techniques again. Would be a perfect place to introduce the stone/ra/ga skills too, seeing as III finally got the water spells.

You jumped at 0:09, started a combo, and didn't touch the ground again until 0:43...that's the longest I think I've ever seen someone play "the floor is lava" without glide!

The great part of the video is hearing the same voice shouting stuffs like: "darkness, sorry, take this, you' re done", and so on Lol

Sora and Riku both giving Repliku the smackdown at 1:37 is pretty satisfying.

This was partially a *no touching the ground challenge,* I feel.

It's a bit silly that his finisher and shotlock are pretty much the same thing. Would have the finisher to a series of dashe strikes, and shockwave finisher from his old DS. That, and give him a Darkest Fears --> Ghost Drive formchange for the finisher to properly slot into.

Gotta say, this made Riku look more interesting/competent in this game than other gameplay. Probably high skill playing a large part, though. Weird you can’t play as him in the Ansem/Xemnas/YX fight.

I kind of speculated that even on lvl 1, the non-sora characters have normal level stats, but i didn't test it too much. Do they? Or are their stats reduced?

Imagine if Re:Mind had other playable characters with complete moveset and you could roam the entire game as them (and not just specific fights), switching between them and Sora at will. And by complete moveset I mean team attacks, form changes, airstep, shotlocks ... maybe not for every guardian of light, but with Riku, Roxas and Aqua for example. Or maybe it'd be too much work for a DLC, even though it would justify its price more.

At last, the day has come.

Did they intentionally make Sora the worst party member ever? Like this kid slowly walks into Dark Riku's mines, so they didn't work on his dodge heuristics, he doesn't have access to any magic that isn't Curaga, so they didn't explore letting him have autonomy like Mickey and Aqua, also every time he gets close to an enemy, he is somehow a bigger jobber than in cutscenes. Oh lemme slowly approach them now that I'm close. Oh, where did they go? Imma look at the same direction for a minute THEN turn around!

I do not get why there is no option to play as either character for the entire game. I mean cutscenes can stay the same but being able to play the entire game as riku. Wtf how awesome would that br

Am I wrong or this is the only fight where there isn't a team attack?

Currently I'm struggling with what Keyblade I coulde use on the DLC Remind episode, and so far I feel so conflicted that no matter what Keyblade I use, I ended up restarting the whole thing all over again so many times now, because nothing seems to click with me. I can't even bring myself to use Kingdom Key or Oathkeeper cause both Roxas and Xion has the same thing, and that's ridiculus; Next got the option on playing the Guardians of light, and I feel so ticked right now because I'm reduced to fighting on pars with the enemie's level, and that Sora uses the Kingdom Key keyblade. Allow me to clarify that I detest the idea of becoming one of those "Players" on struggling with having to use cure, and don't do a ton of damage because of the level there at; I'm sorry, but I rather just stick with Sora, and being on a high level of 99 thank you very much, and play it smart, and I'm also tired everybody talking about Ultima Weapon being the #1 Keyblade in the whole game, well I say who cares? It's not enough on Sora for not having his own Signature Keyblade: I can't stand the Shooting Star keyblade and it's formchange, I don't like the Disney keyblades, I don't even know where to go from there, and I'm afraid of being unable to come to a decision on what Keyblade (absolutely Ultima Weapon, Oathkeeper, Oblivion, and Wheel of Fate) I could use to start and finish ReMind.

The AI of most partners are terrible.. just as bad as Dragonball Xenoverse with the ai's..
