Theory: Strelitzia didn't truly die. Her heart and body perished but the MoM or Luxu intercepted her, either before she vanished forever or from The Final World (it's entirely feasible that she ended up in The Final World since Lauriam clearly wouldn't let her go), and put the white coat on her to keep her from truly dying. I think the white coat blocks out light, just as the black coat blocks out darkness. When people die, they return to the primordial light of Kingdom Hearts--unless they're wearing a white coat, a shield keeping the light from taking them. After giving her the white coat, the MoM or Luxu took her to Quadratum, a place where there's no light to claim her. As long as she's in Unreality, and as long as she wears the white coat while anywhere in Reality, she can't die. She exists as a being neither living nor dead.
Quadratum may be the afterworld for people from the world of fantasy, just like Alice, a real girl, passed out and ended up in the Wonderland. The real goes to fantasy, the fantasy to real. At least to me.
This is kinda sad, because that means she won't be able to escape Quadratum or she will die for good. (Unless she still has the white coat, which she will have to wear at all times.)
I have a friend that i'm def gonna show this to. I've taken him through every single KH game, but struggled with how to share important lore bits from Ux, seeing as how it isn't possible to play the game anymore and the explanation videos get rather long. Thanks Jared!

I’m pretty sure Nomura will make all these “new” characters easy to digest considering Sora himself doesn’t know the majority of them. People who skipped out on the mobile games are pretty much just as out of the loop as Sora is.
Jared I must say it warms my heart seeing all these posts. I remember starting late middle school and throughout high school watching a video from you daily and the hype of kingdom hearts being unbelievable, it felt like we were all part of something. Well now that reminiscent feeling is back and the hype couldn’t be any more real. I’m so excited for the future, and I’m so glad that we’re back!!
Kinda funny when you think about how according to the list, Ven isn't meant to be one but technically due to the Master of Masters orchestrating things, Ven technically is meant to be one. Think of him as the Luxu of the Union Leaders in that sense. Luxu being one of MoM's apprentices but not have his own copy of the book, while Ven isn't in the list of Union Leaders but MoM was setting things up for Ven to be one Maybe that's why Luxu as Braig/Xigbar has this thing with Ven by the time Xehanort came around
The sad part about Strelitzia is that she will never meet the player because he died twice, in the end of union cross and later as xehanort in the end of kingdom hearts 3
Knowing how relevant Dark Road will become, it probably won't be the last time we'll see Xehanort. Itll be more likely that we'll see Xehanort as Young Xehanort

Ya know, I've been trying to go as long as I could without having to learn about Union Cross, unless it was really damn important. Now it seems like it's getting more important than ever before. So it's time for me to learn about all of it, and hopefully try to understand it. Leave it to Nomura to put important story information behind a mobile game.
Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series of all time. That being said, it’s hard for my dumb brain to retain all of the information that goes on in this convoluted story. Your videos at least fill in some of the missing pieces and for that I am thankful. Keep doin you. ✌️
Always loved Cynicals videos covering various KH lore and story and content. Thanks for this video. Although I have played Union X, I forgot a bit what happend regarding a few characters including Strelitzia. This came in helpful!😊
My theory is that Strelitzia's heart somehow made it's way to Lauriam's, unwilling to leave her brother behind, and was sort of sleeping inside him until Xehanort removed his heart the second time to make him one of the "13 Darknesses". He unknowingly removed Strelitzia's heart too, and she ended up recompleting using her stolen data in Quadratum.
Damn, can't stop my tears flowing every time I see Strelitzia, her story is really a tragic one, so it can only get better from then, looking forward for more of her story
Considering we are entering a new arc of some sorts, i wonder how many questions is this game to going to create and how many are going to get answered...
I was thinking that possibly the white robe Luxu put into the pod and called "The True Dandelion", might be Strelitzia's medium to travel into the future? Perhaps Marluxia getting his memories back at the end of KH3 could be the memories Strelitzia needed to time travel. Only problem is that Marluxia wasn't in Quadratum, so I'm thinking alternatively it was Luxu's memories. There were 2 cloaked figures in the KH4 trailer and if one of them is Luxu, this would make sense.
Well in quadratum maybe we will see luxord or demyx since both of them real body are still unknown..... Demyx is abit SUS to me he looks more like MoM i mean the manerism

The Master Of Masters might want something to do with her because of what’s written in the missing page of the Book of Prophecy. Gula mentions that the missing page refers to someone “bearing the sigil”. In 3D, we’re told that the sigil refers to the X on Sora’s clothes, and is known as the Recusant’s Sigil. Knowing that, the first assumption might be that the page was referring to Sora using the Power of Awakening to rewrite time. However, if you look at Strelitizia’s hair, the tie she has in the front forms an X, so the page could be referring to her and the role she has to play deeper into the series.
I’m amazed we got a trailer. But even more amazed strelitzia as in it!!! I didn’t think they’d make a reveal that big right off the bat. So imagine what else they’re gonna put in this game!!
After Strelitzia's sad and short time in khux it makes me so happy to see her again and in beautiful hd. I can't wait to see her and Sora interact more ☺️

I too had to explain to my friends after they saw me so surprised to see Strelitzia lol. One of my friends is a super Ventus fan so she was almost brought to tears to imagine him doing anything like that. Then she realized "Wait...VANITAS ACTUALLY KILLED HER!...Oh, so technically she's actually looking into the "face" of her murderer when you think about it..." I was mind-blown when she literally put all of that together like that xD. Anyways, after seeing this video though...and remembering the fact that Larium really does have a motive to be a part of the later story. Especially with the organization, Ansem and Terranort in his apprentice days were looking for a way to return hearts from data. I could easily see Larium accepting help from Ansem and Terranort for the sake of his sister's return. It's probably something that's kept him on Xenahort's side all this time. Also considering that Luxu gathered with the foretellers...I'm wondering if that secondary coat with MoM was Larium (or Demyx I have a weird feeling about him lol).

@@rexarc2477 To me I think it would be cheap to make him the MoM’s Nobody. I mean there’s already a separate voice actor for the MoM and also it would make the usage of the No Name keyblade as a tool to watch the future be redundant. I was of the party that thought he and Elrena are related based on them sharing the same eye color (and speaking of which the color of the eye on the MoM’s keyblade is different from Demyx’s eyes which are this aqua/teal color which is the same color as Larxene/Elrena’s eyes while the eye on the keyblade is a brilliant blue) and their interaction with one another which to me felt like an older sister who has to babysit her (in her eyes) annoying younger brother. So when he didn’t so up nor did he get mentioned in connection with Elrena that caused me so much confusion. Personally I think he’s a separate character.

The problem with the mobile games is if you don't play them (understandable) you have to research through a 2nd party which kills the emotional investment.
This also begs the question of, if Strelitzia is in Quadratum, are other ancient Keyblade Wielders also there (or somewhere in that universe)? These are the kinds of questions I asked about characters like Xion and Roxas, and the games eventually answered them, even when self-proclaimed KH 'experts' were telling me that it would never happen. So you'd better start thinking about this.

I’ve been the most dedicated kingdom hearts fans since the first game in 2002. My whole body is covered in kingdom hearts tattooes. I have played every game except for union cross. I had to watch all the cutscenes that were going on in cross but when the trailer came out, S had not impact on me. Thanks so much for making the vid J! Been an avid fan since you started the channel!
HMK also has done a video on this, but cynical, you did it so much more in detail, and you are much more pleasing to listen to for some reason. I really like how you explain the cutscenes, and what happened, so we are up to date about what happened instead of telling us minor details about her.
I am hoping we get to see Laurium in KH4 (and Elrena). I am betting right now that if Laurium and Strelitzia were to meet in KH4, Laurium is going to get very emotional.

People please check out Union X. Its one the absolute best KH stories. It's amazing especially the last third. The app is still available with all the cutscenes. And theres tons of videos online explaining everything.... cough cough Damo
I would like to know how the data of a person can bring said person back to life? Data is merely a copy of the person, not the soul and feelings of the person. Imagine if Lauriam and the others brought back the data and Lauriam thought it was his sister but it isn't. It's only a mirrored image. If Strelitzia did come back from the dead in the age of fairy tales somehow, she would definitely be upset that her brother and all her friends replaced her for a copy not knowing any better. She would go to Lauriam and the others saying, "Who is that person that looks and acts like me? I'm your real sister... why didn't you know that...?"
The data can be used to replace the body as long as they have a way to recover the heart. That is how they created the replica using the data of the people they wish to bring back.
@@buccham6354 True. And it can also serve as a medium for time travelling. (i.e. MoM's eye in his keyblade) Something interesting: we saw her "walking" (soul/heart) with someone in the street. While being "unconscious" (data empty shell) being sent to the future from someone via the travel pad. My point is, I think Strelitzia were completed in Quadratum and not before. This is why Lauriam ended up nowhere (in some flower) uncomplete and amnesiac as his sister were in a différent reality and couldn't have helped him with memories of him.

I know for posterity it's best to say Master of Masters or Luxu regarding who took Strelitzia but given we see Luxu with the True Dandelion, I'm at least 90% sure it was Luxu. Remember he's only said to have disappeared in terms of the understanding of his friends; the other Foretellers and thus the Unions they lead. His Role was specifically to just watch and stay hidden, except... He broke that a few times. With Ava, then being seen by Elrena's Chirithy, presenting himself to Brain at the end. Now, regarding being surprised at her return via Quadratum? I'm guessing I'm the only one who wasn't when I heard the spoiler tweet moments after the presentation in Japan. Probably because as the True Dandelion, taking the Ark...She had to go somewhere. However, where I branch off a bit, is I feel like she didn't go straight to Quadratum. I think she ended up in Radiant Garden for a time...in other words, she is Subject X. Look at her new hairpin, look at how we know the Ark works. Lastly, remember Apprentice Xehanort's words to a young Kairi. Who better to try out the Ark with than an 'Unknown stranger', eh? In Quadratum is where I think she regained her memories and self.
Theres no describing how hype it was to see strelitzia and know that Ux has major implications. Like obviously nomura doesnt make characters randomly but still to see how big he really wants kh to be is amazing. It excites and scares me at how long KH as a whole might go on. I might be dead before we get the resolution to darkness 😅😂

Begining to wonder if skuld is in quadratum too, she is suposedly the girl lea and Isa met in ansems castle, and she misteriousy dissapeared, then Ansem seemed to have a clearer idea of the concept of unreality, as so far there was no evidence that unreality existed but he did have theories about it existing, finally when xehanort "saved" kairi he mentioned the posibility of ending in unreality, which means both Ansem and Xehanort, as Xehanort must have learned the concept from someone, both knew of unreality, most likely it could be due to Skulds or whomever the girl that was there misterious dissapeareance, most likelly skuld since all time travelers seems to have lost their memories, so asumming that both Ansem and Xehanorth learned about unreality from the girls dissapearance, and the girl was Skuld, there would be a huge posibility of Skuld being in Quadratum, or other unreality worlds, which makes me wonder what type of worlds we would see in unreality, I'm not fully convinced we would see disney worlds in unreality, and I doubt Quadratum would be the only unreality world
Really liked the job you have made and I agree with all you theories except one. Imo MoM's didn't used Strelitzia to allow him travelling in time. He also need a medium for that which is clearly stated to be his eye on his keyblade. Strelitzia couldn't have got the keyblade with her as it is Brain or data Brain having it with the box in the desert. Imo It is Luxu's task to survive using vessel all along, finally bringing medium ans memories of MoM in Quadratum to complete him. Strelitzia is probably serving another part of the plan for him as the 'true dandelion' and "seed of light' as explained in the mobile game before being sent to the future.
KH Dark Road Spoilers: To be honest… If player doesn’t reincarnate again after Missing Link, I hope he/she goes to Quadratum in KH4 to reunite with Strelitzia atleast.

Good news on kh switch They fixed it I bought it the other day I’ve been playing kh1 blind aside from an occasional minor cutscene lag the gameplay and game has been really smooth and great I’ve been having fun with it I hope people give it another look

I'm still curious as to how Riku is gonna end up in Quadratum.... You could assume that the power of waking ended up killing Sora, but the fact that Riku and even Yozora were also seen in Quadratum in that KH3 ending scene... makes you wonder if there is another way in or out... Or if they'll pull the same stunt as the MoM and get in there thanks to Sora having known Riku and Yozora at this point. If it sounds confusing AF, I don't blame you. The lore is still a clusterf**k at the end of the day and it's very hard to keep track of some stuff. It's like if Nomura looked at the cast of Touhou and the lore of the Fate series and Marvel and said... PERFECT.
Did you not watch the last cutscene in Melody of Memories? Cause we saw Riku and Kairi in the Final World, and thanks to the Fairy Godmother they found that one star that talked to Sora, Yozora's red haired friend, who then essentially allowed Riku to create a portal to Quadratum, and he went through it.

Riku used the Nameless star and the power of waking to reach Quadratum. If you remember, Sora used the power of waking to traverse worlds in order to get to his friends' hearts, when the way you're supposed to use it is by using people's hearts to travel to other worlds. That's just what Riku did
Strelizia and her story up till now gives me Namine vibes. I don't know why but it does like strelizia was brought back to life like Namine did in kh3 with a vessel puppet which is why we saw the master put her in a put to be remembered and get her body back in a way in quadratum.

Hey cynical crazy idea for kingdom hearts 4 but what if Nomura has an idea of actually making a final fantasy world within kingdom hearts 4. We’ve always had final fantasy characters in kingdom hearts and having roles within the story but never truly having a full world of final fantasy. Maybe like a midgar world like ddd when Sora entered the country of musketeers they don’t have any true memories with Sora maybe get a same sense in midgar where cloud, tifa and aeirth have no true memories with Sora but have a good feeling with him. Hey even with kingdom hearts for maybe more crossovers maybe nier automata or the life is strange or even having more final fantasy characters in quatradum
As I recall, MoM (or maybe Luxu I don't know it can get confusing with the coats sometimes) sent someone wrapped in white through the ark. I believe he referred to it as the "seed" or something which odds are is Strelitzia. As for how she's alive, MoM's book was created as Luxu lived through the ages and passed down MoM's Keyblade which allowed him to see the future. As he likely recorded up until the events of KH3, knowledge of the Replica program would've been revealed to him. Maybe by taking Strelitzia's data, MoM was able to recreate her heart and form a replica of her.
In a theory I saw and kinda believe. Strelitzia's heart was sent forward in time, and whichever one sent Strelitzia's body in the Ark, sent it forward to relatively close to where we are in current time, but in reality, her heart found its place back in her own body, then she ended up being brought to Quadratum.
I hate to say that we kinda need a 3.5 that includes a full Union Cross Movie and Includes Remind with 3 and Melody of Memory would make sense if they announce this soon and a full Ps5 Port of all the Rest of the games 1.5 2.5 2.8 then 3.5
You know what would be awesome, just hear me out, but what if Striliza is trying to remember the player character and an in game command props up to insert our own name. Strilizia would then wonder why she hears that name in her head. I know she never talked to the player but just maybe if at least seeing the player from a distance will jog her memories.
