@@timekeeper2538 You don’t think so? Not a for sure thing, but considering that production allegedly happened in early 2020, 5 years sounds about right. More than that if it was to be late 2020. Late 2025/early 2026 seems like a pretty reasonable time to expect a release.

Holy crap, my heart is pounding really hard with all the hype. Please, I really REALLY hood there's some KH4 news soon, a freaking trailer! I just can't wait to see more. And of course Missing Link too. Watching the betas really hyped me up for this game too. (Edit: A like and a ♥️ from HMK not even 2 minutes after writing it? That was fast!)

I am still trying to catch up on the KH games I never played. Playing Ven’s story in Birth By Sleep after completing Terra’s story. I have only completed KH 1, 2, and Chain of Memories so far. Love it!!

Also the biggest rumor of more Kingdom hearts crossover collaboration projects with either fortnite, or Sega games studio phantasy star online 2 new Genesis or persona games, or bandai namco games studio Tekken 8 or maybe 9, soul Calibur, or type moon Japan games studio fate grand order or may monoth soft studios with Xenoblade chronicles games. Besides the biggest crossover collaboration rumors that I heard let's hope it comes true. Even for the Kingdom hearts 4 games on the Nintendo switch 2 and PlayStation 4 because I have no PlayStation 5. But kingdom hearts 4 on the Nintendo switch 2 will probably be the one with Nintendo theme and Easter egg such super smash cameo and characters surprises in it.

The collection on Steam releases on the same day Inside Out 2 premieres. That’s is why I’m expecting Missing Link only to appear directly at SGF. I can see a Kingdom Hearts IV trailer dropping on the Sunday after Inside Out 2 premieres on the chance anything pertaining to Inside Out is in the game (remember Big Hero 6 in 2014).

We might get news for KH4 but I just can't see it releasing next year, especially not early next year. It was in very, VERY early development when we saw the trailer -- so early that Nomura even made a comment about how he didn't think he'd get it done in time for the anniversary. News? Possible. Actual game dropping (early) next year? Not so much.

I really hope they reveal more about kingdom hearts 4 at the summer game fest, if not a release date, at least show us some more gameplay and answer a question we’ve all had since melody of memories, will we be playing as Sora alone, or will it be like dream drop distance where we go back and forth between Sora and Riku. If I could have one question answered it’d be about Yozora is he a keyblade wielder and a dandelion like Strelitzia? I know he uses a crossbow and sword, but maybe that’s to hide his identity plus in the boss fight he can steal Sora’s keyblade and the only people we’ve seen take another’s keyblade are those that can wield it.

We’ve been left on read for two years largely because Square wanted to spend several months licking Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s toes(which they admitted to) directly after being left on read for a year. I don’t want feelings, I want confirmation.

Bruh.. kh4 need to have an extreamly similar ending to kh1 and after sora locks kh(DtL) ..sora SprintS to kairi.. when he grabs her hand like before HE also grabs her waist.. and says while looking at her ear "i should have done this the first time" ::lifts her up with only one arm around her.. & before the worlds seperates back to normal:: kairi and sora kiss (better than that spiderman/mary jane kiss) ::fades to black, epic remix of the song passion, and finall que end credits but more kinda like a really fun KH version of how THE HANGOVER (the movie) ended.. but better. With way more kh easter eggs

My hope for KH4 is it finally gives Kiari some character development that KH 2 and KH 3 lacks since she is the Princess of hearts. And to see her relationship with Sora grows from being simple childhood friends With give each other a Paopu Fruit to becoming more of a romantic pair fans have waiting for years.

SE was just putting everything Kingdom Hearts on Unreal Engine. Missing Link was made in Unreal Engine with all the other games we’ve known so far. The same is going to be for Final Fantasy, but they are starting with Stranger of Paradise and FFVII Remake and Rebirth and the 3rd disc first. They are delaying putting FFXIV and FFXVI in EGS because they have to update their proprietary engine for the next expansions on both titles. They are upgrading and updating everything to be able to suppress all the data of all the games from mobile so PC and consoles into Unreal Engine 5. UEFN is being expanded into a OASIS or a metaverse, so Capcom, SNK and so many other gaming studios and companies with Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox, Windows and Apple will apply their own stuff into Unreal Engine with every other company across the globe.
