Kyle, thank you for making this recording. It was playing at the Clay household (and our household) all weekend. Chad practiced his heart out Friday morning and played at the funeral for his brother Connor. Some things are meant to be, and you are a kind man.

Highly recommended to check out some of the pieces from FFXIV. Granted, most are re-mixed versions of older songs, but there are some original pieces that are very good from the most recent expansion.

Dude. I remember when all your videos were recorded in the corner of that tiny little bedroom, with you in sweats or extremely casual clothing. Same here! I remember listening to those videos on repeat back when I was in middle school. Now I’m a full grown adult. It’s crazy how fast time flies by but listening now really brings me back to simpler days :)

Man, I was about to post a similar comment. I've been following Kyle for over 10 years now. every once in a while I seem to be coming back to some of the older vids. Where you used to record on a small keyboard with a Pikachu pluce on it or smth. Filmed in your bedroom ... and now, to see you've grown so much over the years, and in such a handsome suit as well

Hi Kyle, I know that you have never met me before and that is OK. But when I saw this video appeared on my recommended page today, I exclaimed,” Oh, it’s Kyle! My friend!” Truthfully, I grew up watching your videos. I was only 11 when I discovered your cover for Zanarkand, and Eternity: memory of lightwaves, that I decided to pick up the piano. For what I didn’t have at the time, I had my video games and these piano videos playing my favorite music from them. It really got me through one of my harshest times, and I grew so attached to them. That’s why, after all these years, I see you again, and couldn’t help but think; “It’s Kyle! He’s still alive! I see he’s still doing well, that’s good. My friend has a beard now! He looks like he’s in a better place now- I can’t help it, I’m just so happy for my friend!!” I guess I just wanted to say it felt like seeing a close friend again after so long, and what encouragement I have seeing you still do what you love after so many years. In a sense, thanks for always being there for me, and thanks again for allowing me the opportunity to see you once more after so long. I wish you the best, and that I get to see you again years down the line, still playing that piano like how you were since I first saw you! Take care! Stay healthy! Grow old and continue to show your happiness to everyone else in the world with your piano! :)

I love your style of playing piano and the emotion you put into it, and would like to say thank you. I’m currently 16 and I first saw your videos about 6 years ago- after seeing your videos I begged my parents for a piano and luckily enough they bought me a keyboard on my 11th birthday. While they couldn’t get me piano lessons at that time I looked up more RU-vid videos and taught myself piano overtime and am still learning :) your channel and work has genuinely inspired me and continues to inspire me to learn. @@kurufeemo8076 I have a similar story as well. I first heard dearly beloved by Kyle and kingdom hearts is my favorite game. Got a keyboard in the 9th grade and it was the first song I ever learned to play.

Kyle, thank you for this. I discovered your sanctuary cover in 2008, when I was in seventh grade. I was ready to quit piano and give up on music because it wasn't speaking to me. After I heard your version though, I had to learn how to play it. My music teacher redesigned our curriculum so that I could learn all of the techniques and sight reading necessary to learn that piece. From learning more hand control to what the heck arpeggios and scales are and why they matter. The bridge gave me so much trouble getting the speed down. Eventually later in High School I reached my goal! But by then my love of music had ignited. I could not stay away from playing for more than a day or two without feeling like something was wrong. I had learned a new way to learn: I picked another song out of my reach and began learning all the techniques I needed to pick up to learn that song, and so it continued into guitar and other instruments. Ask any of my friends who know my love of music, and they'll tell you I point it back to you and that song. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world and inspiring people. Man i remember you from a cover you did on Kingdom heart with Matt Roy i guess... Awesome as always. There's something about your piano tones that are so relaxing. I wish these arrangements were also on Spotify so I can listen to it as I fall asleep. Thank you for not having commercials during this performance. Your music is very relaxing and then a RU-vid commercial kicks in and just sometimes ruins the moment. I played a lot of kingdom hearts growing up on the ps2 me and my brother shared even though I wasn't even born when some of the first games were released. Hearing these songs brings me back, they make me very sad for some reason. Also I played a lot of final fantasy X
