Saw this movie yesterday. I enjoyed this movie. With Noa leading the apes to safety with the flood kinda had me think of the story of Noah’s Ark.

This movie is comparable to Rise where things had to go a bit slower and set up what is to come in the next films…just like with Dawn and War, things are definitely gonna pick up and go full blast thanks to the foundation already set!!

Agree, Noa showed that he is really intelligent which should help the apes become more advanced. I believe we'll see another war between the humans and the apes for conquest. I hope Raka is still alive. I would like to see him as a mentor and advisor for Noa but also as a friend like Maurice was to Caesar. Raka was one of the best parts of the movie.

Yes it has been stated this is intended to be the start for a new trilogy. Hopefully it continues and we get to see where the story goes from here

They plan to make five more movies after this one. I really hope the quality holds up with each successive film like it did in the last trilogy, and I think it will.

Noah is definitely from ceasers line. From his eyes to his stance and tone of voice. It really comes down to genetics and prox looks more like koba aka a bonabo it’s worth it to do some research into what apes are featured in the movie even the orangutan I belive is a deferent kind from our original gentle giant

Overall I really liked the story! I found it interesting how they continued Caeser’s legacy. I’m sooooooo glad they explained May’s backstory at the end. That was driving me crazy. Like, how does she know about where the government hid? How does she know how to power this place in? How does she KNOW all of this?! Then I was like THANK you!!

Noahs Journey kinda reminded me of Zuko Alone.. like u said everything happends so fast and he was forced to become a man in like a week lol

I didn't hate it but didn't enjoy it as much as I expected to. Maybe cause I didn't feel too attached to any of the characters? I thought Proximus would be more of a threat & a battle? Idk. Maybe I'll enjoy it more on the 2nd watch.

some complain about loose tension in the middle of the movie, but IMO it was a perfect movie considering further series. It was the most wonderful visual experience I had so far in 2024. This movie is only for IMAX.

Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes was good. After the originals and the Caesar saga, this was a blend of all to me with hope for the all new world. ❤

Y'all wait for the real epic scifi this year from the director of The Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola with his new movie called Megalopolis. The teaser trailer has already dropped on his RU-vid channel hopefully you can do a reaction for it. He started it since 1983 all the until now and self funded the movie itself for 120 million dollars and even said “sold a significant piece of his wine empire so that he could use a percentage of the sale as collateral for the line of credit to finally make the film.” THAT IS TRUE PASSION AND DEDICATION of film director. This movie deserves more attention

Hoping they tell a similar story to the OG POTA at the end of this trilogy and I think the ending sets up George Taylor and the other Astronauts appearing. Would be cool to have a time travelling story where George and Noah go to the past to tell humans what will happen and to encourage them to live in peace with the Apes.

3:48 i agree thats how i felt the whole time it wasnt bad it just wasnt for me if you are a fan of the series oh yeah youll love it from start to finish and it was very beautiful appearance wise especially woth the apes they looked very real but in the end i just wasnt feeling it but if you love the planet of the apes go watch it youll love it

Where this movie failed, where Rise succeeded was this. Rise followed the blueprint of Priority #1 just make a good movie priority #2 set up a trilogy, this movie did the opposite and the story suffered because of it.
