Chris Webber, Peja Stojakovic and Mike Bibby lead the Kings to their 60th win and first Pacific Division title in blowout fashion over the Los Angeles Clippers on April 12, 2002.
@@conEso916 I’m not going to argue cause either is valid. I left Sac in 2006. Haven’t been back. Because of this team, I’ve rekindled friendships that went dormant for 17 years that I never would never have thought possible. Might that be clouding my vision. Hell yeah! Opening night of the playoffs is going to be beyond electric. Light the beam!
The 2000s kings had two 8th seed seasons before making a big jump in their third year together. This next season will show us whether the Kings have it in them to be serious for years or are going back to the lottery
I watched this at Players on Sunrise, then immediately after drove to the team store at Arco to get my Pacific Division Champ swag…there was already a line to the parking lot.
Bill Walton called it there after Vlade made that great tip pass at 11:49. That's how the future of the NBA is played. Bottomline, it produces beautiful basketball and the Kings are playing that right now.
Vlade walked so Jokic could run. I mean they should’ve figured it out when Magic did it but still, playmaking big men are the most fun players to watch
Agreed.... and Rick Fox talking shit about, "where's the competition?" following that series really pissed me off. I refused to watch NBA after that, until David Stern left his position.
